The AMD Driver Thread

Yeah AF is all locked then, it's set at startup.

As for slots, yes, the 295x is in the first slot and 290 in second slot... and when I disable XF then the 295x still throttles down...

Uninstall the drivers and MSI AB. Use DDU to clean up the drivers afterwards.
Also use CCLeaner to remove anything on the registry might be left behind from MSI AB.

Then install only 16.5.2 do not install MSI AB. And play some games.
Let us know if that resolved your issue.

So whats the conflict between AB and crimson?

You know?

Just curious. :)

MSI AB has provided me many issues with Crimson and 295X2. Since then I abolished it all together, and still do while using the Nano since January.

AMD overdrive is more than enough to do what we need tbh.

I dont use overdrive, i never mess with it at all (disabled)

I read its still buggy...so yeah.

What about trixxx is it reliable?

This seems like a good place to ask but will we ever get all the video options back on crimson that we used to have on the old drivers?

Why were these removed and never replaced?

Dynamic range especially is important if your running your pc to a 4k TV which you want to calibrate correctly.

Its pretty barebones at the moment.

I believe all these are missing...

1. Basic Video Color Settings

2. Color Vibrance + Slider

3. Flesh-tone Correction + Slider

4. Brighter Whites

5. Dynamic Range

6. Video Gamma + Slider

7. Deinterlacing Setting

8. Pulldown detection

9. Edge enhancement + Slider

10. De-noise + Slider

11. Mosquito Noise Reduction + Slider

12. De-blocking + Slider

13. Dynamic Contrast

Yeah there's so much missing which isn't that great. for a start dynamic range is needed as full RBG is mainly for pc monitors so when running through a normal TV you need the limited option or it just crushes blacks which its doing at the moment for me.
