400-450MB I think.How big is AMD's drivers nowadays?
Check Window Display Properties, perhaps the refresh rate had changed from the previous setting.Had to revert to 21.4.1. Noticed a flickering on my screen both in games and on the desktop. Tried turning off all the usual extra things, freesync, virtual super resolution. Disabled freesync on the monitor, set refresh rate to fixed 60Hz. Couldn't get it to stop. In the end I ran the AMD cleanup utility in safe mode, rebooted and reinstalled 21.4.1. And so far I think it is OK. Very odd. Never had that before with a driver update from AMD. Always been fine. This is with a 6700XT.
Furry muff mate. Thanks buddy, yeah it all seemed to be set OK. Still set to 72Hz (my monitor only does 60-72Hz with Freesync). So I fixed it back to 60Hz but still flickered. This is on a single monitor setup via HDMI. Usually it's rock solid. They do however always seem to mention "flickering" in each release in some shape or form (in the known issues section) so perhaps I'm just unlucky. Will wait for the next release. I had no issues with 21.4.1 so will just have to stick with it for now.
Both.im confused over the version numebrs, is this older than 21.5.2? or is this something specific to just UE5
Probably need a certain cpu/mb setup for that still tho ltmatt, doubt i can use it with my 3570k with my 6700xt. Even tho technically these cpus support it as its in the pcie spec but lack of mb bios updates for so long u doubt it would ever get a new update for it now.
I wonder who will be the first in here to discover the new feature available under the GPU Tuning section for RX 6000 series + 5000 series users...
Also, FYI for anyone using a Fury X or older GCN architectures.

Nice will see if I can improve my 3DMark scores. Where are people reporting better scores?Check the benchmarks many people are reporting good perf increase in Timespy and even some in Port Royale.
Maybe you can get the Forza Horizon crown back.
Yes it's to do with the vertical blank timing of the display.ltmatt i think it was said its expected not to downclock for reasons of refreshrate not being in the power of 2 like 30 then 60 then 120 etc, tho i call bull tbh as vega 56 downclocked ok at 75hz display refresh rate tho it had hbm2 memory and this is gddr6.
It was but does not mean it could not be changed, for single displays anyway.Just updated to the latest drivers, the memory on my 6800 XT is now downclocking at idle even when running at 240Hz on my Odyssey G7, despite previously being told the memory running at full speed was normal and expected behaviour. Not knocking anyone, just happy to see my idle power consumption reduced.
GPU Tuning, but you need compatible hardware and your OS/BIOS configured as well for SAM to work.I feel dumb but I can't find this setting anywhere. Where is it?
How many displays and what does the VRAM clock go up to?I didn't realise my idle clock could be lower. Using 21.6.2 on a 6700XT and if I drop to 60Hz from 120Hz, Watts go to a minimum of 5. It's usually around 33W.
I'm seeing people here say the issue is fixed, but if I go back to 120Hz on my 4K screen, VRAM clocks and Power go back up. Is this a returning bug or is there something else I can do?
I only ran each test once tbf, 21.8.1 was 20 graphics points lower in Timespy.you would think so wouldnt you but it dipped for some reason.
Have you got MSI afterburner installed? Not as important but could you nudge a little report over to the driver team as for some reason the power limit % defaults back to 0 upon every reboot, Using a 6600XT.
Why would you change the page file? This should always be left at default auto settings. Are you using a custom page file?ive tried everything i see when i google. went back to xx.3.1, changed page file, verified the game files, uninstalled and installed the game again and its still doing it...
Furry muff, it’s a bad idea.it was one of the fixes for this game. it never worked.
there are conflicting reports on changing it though. i couldnt decide either way if it was a good idea or not from what i had read.
Try disabling fast boot (Windows Control Panel) and see if it sticks.Nope, Fresh install of Windows 10, Only got Windows updates, Mobo and GPU drivers, Nothing else aside from game clients like Steam.
Can confirm that SAM is available on my 5700XT!
Are you using a Ryzen CPU?i have an msi 6800 xt gaming trio.
and i have revereted back to 21.8.2..
these new drivers have caused nothing but stuttering in games such as warzone.. and csgo is barely playable
id no way recommend these new drivers at all.
my problems are fixed now
