Does memory voltage actually work up to 1.150v ?

I can run my 480 memory at 2100 mhz with 0.870v but any speed higher than that with any amount of volts results in memory errors being reported by HWiNFO during firestrike extreme stress test

If you have a freesync monitor you'll be best off with an AMD card not a 1060, Not all 480's are going to have the same problem just look at user experiences and from them choose the right one.
 
Odd how some seem to have loads of issues where as others don't when it comes to certain drivers.


PS. Still waiting on hearing something about 21.9 VSR support....

Known Issues
A few game titles may fail to launch or crash if the AMD Gaming Evolved overlay is enabled. A temporary workaround is to disable the AMD Gaming Evolved "In Game Overlay".

Are those gains from 16.7.1 or 16.7.3, as the latter already had performance increases in them (pity they're so bugger for the 480)

Well, my machine gave me an auto update prompt, and I took it. Seemed to have worked find this time (unlike the last 2 months).

I can see my drivers have updated, and was playing a game and watching a video for quite a few hours over the weekend, which normally risks a locked screen, and all was 100% perfect!

how do i install 16.7.2 i have 16.7.3 installed and running but i want the memory oc to 2200. i downloaded whql-win7-64bit-radeon-software-crimson-16.7.2 but not sure if thats the full package to get wattman etc .

any help would be welcome
