Just to make it a bit more clearer, it's not the pop up window from the notication area. The window that pops up looks like the installer, dark grey box, and tells you new drivers are avaliable with an option to automatically download drivers already ticked. If I see it again I'll try get a screenshot.

Its a shame that win 7 will never support dx12, and I know I will have to upgrade to win10 eventually for the games, dam you ms... I did give win10 a shot for about a week or so, but then I went back to win 7 again, just over nigglly things really, a bit pathetic.

Be aware about the little box you can tick/untick when installing drivers that says something about automaticly downloading new drivers. I think it shows itself twice during the install process. it needs to be ticked off.

Has anyone heard a timescale for AMD supporting asynchronous reprojection for the Vive?

Feeling horribly frustrated that NVidia users have access to this and I don't because it apparently works wonders.

In raw fps number in games i havent seen any improvements in win10 vs win7. However at desktop win10 has a more fluid feel to it. I can certainly understand why some peeps might want to stay on win7. Its still a solid OS if you are using it only for entertainment purposes.

so now i'm having more weird issues... whereas before I could run driver 16.7.3 without problems, but any never drivers would give me an Access Denied style error in games. I now find that 16.7.3 give me awful stuttering performance about every minute.

Any thoughts on how to approach diagnosing this? I'm kinda tempted to go for a format and windows reinstall, but wouldn't mind trying anything else before i go through that.

A format would be best, and install 16.11.2.

I guess you're right. It feels like software issue as temps are reasonable, with the CPU at 45 max and the RX480 at around 80. I may just install it on a new partition to see if it makes a difference before i go about nuking everything.

Latest drivers, flickering still in BF1 and poor performance. Even at everything LOW performance should be through the roof... not good... checked on afterburner and it's showeing that the cards are never beening used over 65% to me this is poor xfire scaling at it's best. Shame, as it's running 100% stable unlike when BF3/4 came out

Yeah I always make sure I untick that, when you open the installer and after you finish installing. AMD really needs to remember what you choose.

How come the game breaking BF1 bugs for AMD users havent been mentioned in the known issues list in 16.11.2 Hotfix?

There is no way AMD dont know about the light bug on Amiens and the blue tint screen and black screen issues, many people are experiencing it and it ruins the game

Because its not a driver issue

I have friends with 1080 and 980 playing on same sever had this issue.
It's a game bug that needs patching, just like the game crash..

Your thinking of the screen flicker in certain parts of Amiens, the issue I have effects a lot of maps and seems to follow weather conditions, all the searching I've done points to AMD owners reporting it.

Not saying this is fact, I could be wrong but from what I've read its AMD owners reporting it

Nope had that flicker, also had the different colour flicker.. It's a light bug that is triggered by a flare from the sniper class. It effects the hole server going by the chat and my friends.
I only seen it happen on amiens nothing else played almost 50 hours now.
