Thanks for the reply! Settings to hit the boost clock of my card (1325Mhz on an ASUS Dual 8Gb) were stable under the previous driver. I'll lower the speed to see if that has any impact.
The rest of my system was at stock speed, as I don't have not been able to get Player Unknown's Battlegrounds to work without crashing since installing my RX 480 last week. Everything else works fine!

I wonder if there's any specific reason for why it's exactly half the number when on.

where the fps overlay comes from?
rtss and other overlays have issues with freesync and window (regardless) mode.
same also applies to the uplay fps overlay and steam fps overlay.

Few months ago, there was a lot of bickering against AMD regarding ASW support on older gpus than RX400. And the posts of some around here were so vile, that I am tempted do dig them out and serve humble pies when I go home tonight......

It's a strange one even if I put 60fps it still drops to 36fps
I have monitored the refresh rate white game is running and it remains at 144hz even tried the driver 17.4.1 still happens.
Am confused about this because it looks like nobody else is getting it? Least from my looking around over the Internet.

Happens without the fps counter on screen I know this because I can see the display flicker.
Using radeonpro here. Never once in any game had fps counter mess with freesync. I use steam, uplay, action, radeonpro

RAPTR really sucks,
They've now put a notice up saying the Rewards scheme is being closed down in a couple of weeks which means my 64,000+ points I've spent several years saving up for the 80,000 points graphics card would have been a waste of time.

Does it happen without Radeon Pro running? Restart system and ensure the Radeonpro service is not running in the background. Only had one report of this so far and it's from you mate.

Happens without anything running mate, I don't normally have any FPS overlay running while playing fifa. It was only because of the screen flicker and menu lag did I go ahead and run overlay to see what's going on.
People on Reddit and one guys has got back to me saying he also has the same issue 16.12.1 fixed it for him.
Need to ask him what GPU he running.

@AMDMatt do you have a link for driver 16.12.1 seems am going to need go back for testing here. Guy on Reddit posted back he using a RX 480 so it's not a series bug

Also, are you getting many reports of Player Unknown's Battlegrounds crashing on RX 480 cards? I simply can't get mine to run stably.
