Have you set the timings manually?

Not myself but I have selected XMP in the bios which manually sets the memory to 1600MHz 9.9.9.24.2T @ 1.50v. All other timings are Auto.

I tried adjusting ram voltage this eve, to see if I could get through a few hours of gaming with no red screen of death. Before I tried bf4 I launched prime, which immediately crashed the pc with any dram voltage over 1.5. So i decided to lower the overclock to 4.7GHz instead, and dropped 0.030v off the core and no red screen at all tonight, after 3 hours of gaming. I did get 1 crash with "bf4.exe has stopped working" when changing maps, but cant really be sure if unstable cpu overclock caused that or was just a game bug crash...

Where can I get the latest CAP profiles? Wondering if they will make Far Cry 3 smoother.

Negatory! Cap file are included in the latest driver. However try my suggestions.

Download RadeonPro

How To Set It Up

Disable vsync and triple buffering in game. Set render ahead to 1 in game. Save and quit the game.

1. Add the game exe to the RadeonPro profile list. Use the farcry3_d3d11.exe FILE!!
2. Change Vsync to always on.
3. Tick Triple Buffering.
4. Tick dynamic frame rate control.
5 Tick lock framerate to monitor refresh rate. - Don't forget to put in your monitors refresh rate in the box above, 60 or 120hz.

6. Under advanced tick flip que size and change it to 1.

7. Click apply and save. Now launch the game. Smooth??

Rather than using Dynamic frame rate control and limiting to 59fps you can use 'Lock framerate up to monitors refresh rate' instead. Try both and see which one works better. Ensure you can maintain 60fps at all times for smoothest performance.

It is now about a billion times better, thank-you :)

Mouse lag and stutter have gone and it now actually feels like 59fps :)
