Thanks , Matt, I have bombed them as wellan official statement from AMD d be nice
Probably need to give them time to replicate the issue then try to fix it.![]()
Hi, it s very easy - you hook up 4K monitor to 290/X
and / if you are not an epileptic/ "enjoy" the immense lightshow
AMD was joking some time ago about Nvidia s support for 4K- it looks that it occured to nobody to check up their stuff first.
I bought a new monitor and now I/we have to wait/ for how long we do not know /.
The fact remains though, this shouldn't happen and hope it is a quick fix like Thracks said and not something that takes a year (like the frame pacing).
I think it was more like a 3-6 months. I seem to recall it getting highlighted near the start of 2013 and being fixed at the start of August 2013.
Just out of curiosity, does it do it if you lower the desktop res to say 1080P? If not, might pay to run it like that and game at 4K till they have it fixed.
Yeah I heard someone mention if you set the res to 2560x1440 it works fine.

I run my monitor at 1440P for desktop and game at 4K. I got fed up of straining my eyes for things like Afterburner and 1440P does give me enough real estate.
You will see what I mean tomorrow and let me know how you get on![]()
Greg do you use W7?
I heard W8.1 has better support for 4k with text scaling and such.
