I m thinking of going to Nvidia , see my post :)

Stop! Warsam (AMD Community Rep) has contacted me and asked me to ask you to contact him (you don't have your trust set up) to address and fix this issue. You can either trust him here via his OcuK profile. Or you can contact him on twitter, here. :)

Westie! :p

Yeah it was a pretty big cluster.
The guy in returns tried convincing me that the manufacturer allows some dead pixels, but I was having none of that. Got a refund.

You do right, this isn't 2002. there should be no light spots / dead pixels on modern displays.

I don't know how manufacturers still get away with it. There's a legal requirement for new items to be without minor defects, so how they expect display devices costing hundreds to be accepted with faulty displays is just ridiculous.

4K@60Hz : flickering event. after uninstalling the drivers e.g not a driver problem.
New DP cable did not solve the problem as well.

AMD has got /MP / a weak signal from the board that cannot make it to 60Hz.
Installed 780TI-60Hz out of the box.

So far not "hotfix" from AMD as there cant be any. Thanks LtMatt for your kind support.
Have had an interesting experience with some AMD spin doctors on Twitter .
Those PR guys are "awesome ". Warsam is a nice guy.
