Thanks.. I've no probs with the Beta's atm but when u say smoother is that Mantle? BF4? Not been gaming much lately but when i do its BF4 :)

I do not use Mantle or BF4 but by smoother for me it is with no screen flickers in League of Legends and better average FPS in Tera Rising. On the odd occasion as well with the old 14.6 drivers i would get screen flickering when i booted up my PC (no longer a problem).

14.6 here runs fine, with less GPU memory used in BF4 but graphical glitches still all over the place. Shame, not played in a few months now, but same problem in quadfire.

Hey guys. Is there a utility that completely removes all traces of AMD drivers? I remember AMD actually having an official one on their download page but I can't find it anywhere, anyone got a link to it?

I don't have any issues on 13.12 but i'm wondering if there's any point in updating. I don't play BF4 and i'm wondering if performance is improved overall of just for specific games.

does the newest drivers (14.6 RC) widen the gap between the 290 and 290x? also do you think future drivers with widen the gap?

in the release notes for the 14.4 and 14.6 RC drivers it only says 290x improvements, does that go for the 290 also?

but surely it would say 290 series instead of 290x?

Considering some of the early 290s would unlock to 290Xs then it seems like it would have to be very specific code in the drivers to limit the effects to just the 290X. Also seems like AMD would be shooting themselves i nthe foot by basically purposely sabotaging the performance of the 290 cards.
