Any-one have a memory leak fix for crossfire uses since the 08/07/14 bf4 patch? Other than turning off mantle or crossfire of course?
Really annoying starting out at 120FPS and dropping down to 50 after 20mins of gameplay.
Yep get the same when using mantle, and mantle forces crossfire too so you can't drop to one card like you can in DX, #brokenAMDstuff
Working here Locky. Note the difference in temps and gpu usage with crossfire disabled.

ive tried that and mantle is still forcing crossfire mate. The bf4 memory has been there since mantle was released and still hasn't been fixed..
Which drivers are you using? I just disable it like above and the game only detects one gpu. Using 14.7 drivers here.
What do you mean the bf4 memory, do you mean the higher vram usage than dx?
EDIT You've got three gpu's right?
When using mantle (3 GPU's enabled) the game starts out butter smooth and as the game progresses it's just get more and more into a stuttery mess until it's unplayable and ALT F4 is needed.
Sounds like you eventually exceed the vram limit on your cards then. It's up to Dice to fix their memory management implementation, but honestly i don't expect that to happen in Battlefield 4. They say they are thinking of redesigning it for future titles though.

You can monitor vram usage yourself while you play via an overlay by typing Render.DrawScreenInfo 1 into the console. Or you can use this User.Cfg i created to monitor performance as you play. Place it in your BF4 main folder.

You have three options.
1. Lower your settings slightly, to use less vram under Mantle. Knock AA off, or down to X2. Monitor the vram usage on the overlay as you play. You'll know when you exceed the limit (3072MB) as the overlay information will tell you and the game will hitch as page file is used to store textures.
2. Use DirectX 11 where there is no such issue with vram.
3. Get some 290's and never worry about vram in Mantle again, unless you game at 4K.
I'm running CF290x's still have the Vram issue
I have tried running the game at lowest settings and low resolution (game looks pap) and still getting the issue, I use msi afterburner and monitor the stats on my G19.
Can you both post screenshots using my User.Cfg file so i can see the information of what's happening when the stuttering starts please. You can produce a screenshot under Mantle by typing Render.Screenshot into the console and hitting enter. It will be saved in my docs/bf4 folder.
Locky are you using an Auto Sized page file?
No but before you ask I have tried Auto
I will just use DX11 until I upgrade my cards, which is more likely Nvidia due to Gsync and that lovely Asus monitor![]()
LtMatt how can I check mine is set to Auto?
