WHQL version of the 14.8 can be found on Guru3d. While performance and stability compared to the 14.7RC3 is much much better.

I believe the next is the 14.9 or 14.10 when they come out..

Always stayed away from drivers not released on AMD's site.

Tempted to give it a try though I must admit (even on guru it said they are a APU driver).

So why wasn't it released by AMD?

This is why I don't install leaks, because the reason why they haven't been released is usually because there's something wrong with them.

This, it's not for desktop GPU's.
 
Are there issues with bf4 and mantle regarding either framerate or memory usage? Any time I get a large explosion close by the game dives to single digits, in d3d it might go to 3-0 or 40 fps but remains playable when this occurs. That's @ 5760x1080 ultra.
