Is there anyway of getting the hydravision/hydragrid feature as I've noticed it's not part of CCC. Using a 32" Samsung monitor it is ideal for breaking up the screen instead of resizing windows all the time

So finally have my xfire running again. Appears my rig hates the 14.9 drivers with a passion. Back on 14.1 again and its all plain sailing, no freezing, lock ups and everything runs with both cards engaged

Was for me, I built a new rig with 2 x MSi R9 290x Twin Frozr, installed 14.9 off the bat and got the yellow exclamation mark that there was an issue installing, rebooted after install and everything appeared fine and worked fine. However, every time I rebooted from then on I would have to do a physical reboot to get the monitor to kick in.

Reverted back to 14.4 and worked fine, tried 14.7 worked fine, tried 14.9 again, same issues. Waited for 14.9.1 and not had a single issue so far other than user generated (pushing overclocks too far and then realising that I'm going to have to upgrade my 1000w PSU to at least 1250w haha)

I will add that I did run DDU and completely removed all AMD drives and software. DDU Link

AMDMatt, you were right. I have bought a certified DisplayPort cable and the random black screens at 120Hz have stopped.

The major issues at 144Hz however remain exactly the same :(

Hi X3T,

Sorry to hear this, i will update the team with your issue and see what they say. Just to remind myself, the issue was flickering at 144hz? Was that under 2d or 3d load, or both?

tried 14.9s yesterday but bf4 has issues which matt was quickly on. basically bf4 plays so well with 14.9s but at end of round the game will close.

so back to 14.4s till fixed. must say though 14.9s very smooth.

Yes it is just at 144Hz (at 2560x1440) and in both 2d and 3d. I don't think flickering is a strong enough word to describe what happens :p It looks like an old analogue TV with poor reception.

Thanks for all your help :)

Hi Matt.

Any idea why we haven't got Titanfall crossfire drivers?

Titanfall has had crossfire support for a while ikari. Which drivers are you using? One thing to consider with Titanfall is it's not a very demanding title and i believe the fps are capped (at 60fps?) so it's unlikely to put much strain on more than one gpu unless playing at high resolution.

Thanks i will pass on that information.

Yes its capped at 60 FPS, the 290 runs it practically at idle on maxed out settings.

Its still a nice little game though :)

And good fun, you should get it....
