@AmdMatt

Just installed the 14.11.1 beta drivers through the link. Not sure if they actually installed as software in CCC is still reporting 14.9??

I have found that generally if you update drivers CCC will still show the old version despite it is updated properly, only way to fix it is to do a driver sweep and start over.

I just deal with it as i cant be arsed to go through the hassle of setting up eyefinity again.

Dont suppose these fix the odd issue of the display not waking up after a set period of time? (black screen when moving mouse to wake up etc) ive currently got my monitor to never sleep and just hit the power button on the monitor, although ive forgot on a few occasions and its been on for 5 hours or more eek lol.

It's reporting correctly as 14.11.1 for me. I used DDU to uninstall the previous drivers in safe mode, albiet it auto-detected settings for an nvidia GPU instead of AMD which I only noticed the second before I was about to click uninstall drivers, first time that's happened with DDU.

Thanks I will test them out and see if there is any change :)

Just tested...lost 5 fps in average fps on grid autosport on 11.1 compared to 14.9

But COD-AW seems a lot better in crossfire although there still is gun flickering at times.

AMDMatt, I have an issue with mantle that I hope you can help me with.

For every game I run in Mantle vs DX11 @1080p and tripple-buffered i.e BF4 & Plants vs Zombies, I am always getting stutering and jerky gameplay even though the fps is showing 60fps.
However, when I run the games in DX11 and force 60fps cap using MSI Afterburner, the gameplay is silky smooth with no stutters at all.

I am guessing that if there was some way of capping the fps to 60 using mantle, then that would fix my stuttering issues. Unfortunately, MSI Afterburner appears to only work with DX and OGL afaik.

Is there another solution you could offer which could help with the stuttering problems I am getting mantle, otherwise I am force to run my in DX and not gain the addition performance that mantle offers?

Thanks

I was going to ask if this driver fixed the issue with Xfire not appearing in CCC with x2 7950s but it would seems there is a lot of problems.

Seems there would be no point in updating drivers... COD works fine at the moment and from reading the description this wont fix crossfire in it for me.

Place this file in your BF4.exe folder. It will give you a 60fps cap in Mantle.

Performance for me in general has gotten worse, with crossfire at least.

I've found how to replicate the issue on my end. This was done after starting the PC, so i recommend you restart your PC then follow the steps to try replicate it.

  1. Open up Sniper Elite 3 and run a benchmark, note your score.
  2. Close down Sniper Elite 3 and wait about 30 seconds
  3. Open up Sniper Elite 3 again and run the benchmark, note your score.

For me the first score was 82FPS and all others after that were around ~65FPS at best. Checking GPU-Z shows everything to be normal and that the cards are clocking correctly, they are not throttling at all either.

Some settings of the game seem to interfere a bit and damage performance I've noticed. Have you tried the setting in game 'shader cache' on and then off while using 14.1.1 drivers?

Where do i find that setting? Looked through the menu's but couldn't find it. Unless i'm just being blind.

Well after my recent issues trying to get my eyefinity running @144hz, this driver has sorted it out!
All running great, just tweaking here and there, cheers Matt!

It's definitely there just under the other shader cache option!

Is that in the SE3 or CCC?

This is all i see in the game:
