Interesting observation. May i suggest trying to uninstall the update i mentioned above then reinstalling the Omega drivers and see if the Mantle option comes back in Battlefield 4.

LoL ok false alarm.. i had BF4 set to 32 bit last night when i was trying to get Raptr to stream to Twitch tv and forgot to switch it back to 64 bit.

@Dave.. have a quick check of this just in case it switched to 32 bit on its own. I noticed a new plugin for battlelog, maybe that did it?

Mantle is a 64 bit application only, so that makes sense. :)

Hi Dave,

Of course! :)

VSR is working as intended.

Here are the modes currently supported on the 1080p 120Hz display for a 290X.

3200 x 1800 1920 x 1080, 60 Hz
2560 x 1440 1920 x 1080, 60 Hz
2048 x 1536 1920 x 1080, 120 Hz
1920 x 1200 1920 x 1080, 120 Hz

For Battlefield 4 if you wish to downsample higher i would recommend using the ingame 'resolution scaling' option found in the video options.
Im running 2560 x 1440 at 100hz on my 120hz monitor

We intend to release a update to VSR in the near future that will improve on the number of cards supported (R7 260 or higher) as well as expand on the number of downsampling options.

So I take that at no 7970 support?

I have to be honest, I'm looking to replace the 7970 after years of good service but the R9 290X is looking like a bit of a power hungry and heat generating beast - from what I've read. :(

Bleh always with the down sampling. Spare a thought for the few of us trying to use 'real' 4k on HDMI 2.0 TVs :(

Edit: NO. My sad face does not want to be wearing a christmas hat. Forum is ruining the effect.

amd cards don't have HDMI 2.0 yet so why add it in the drivers

I thought that was a hardware limitation? I was under the impression all HDMI ports on AMD cards were 1.4a (and lower for older cards) and only the new Nvidia cards have HDMI 2.0 ports. Isn't that like expecting software to make your USB2 port run at USB3 speeds, or have I grabbed the wrong end of the stick somewhere?

yes Matt please make sure it supports 21:9 resolutions... I wouldn't imagine its that difficult to add those and more and more people are getting them.
