I used to get artefacts in Heaven 4 at 1150, just in the chimney smoke. not in any game, just Heaven 4, now it fine at 1150 but i get the same artefacts at 1200, like you it seems to be something to do with temperatures, when it gets to about 74 / 75 is when it starts.

It's seemingly not uncommon for 7950's to start having problems around 74c+
 
My 7970 loves being kept under 63 degrees. Both core and memory clock better under that. Reference cooler makes a lot of noise keeping it that cool though
 
Anybody test batman arum asylum and city for me on these latest beta drivers (with the bf4 performance) as my games now constantly crash/freeze after clicking play.

Just installing W7 on one of my other drives and then W8.1 on my SSD, going to be a busy night with drivers and programs etc but I am interested to see if W8 is performing better on my PC. Project Cars 1st then BF3 then MW3 ;)
Shankly I'm sure the driver covers W7 and 8, someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Always keep up to date with the latest beta's BB. They always contain the latest crossfire tweaks and improvements. :)
 
I always uninstall old from Programs and Features' then delete all the amd folders.. reboot,run ccleaner and then install new driver. 99.9% problem free :)
 
Ok quick question before bed, W8 has the latest beta on the website ready for download but 8.1 says 13.9 with no beta, can you guys confirm you are using 13.11 with 8.1 ta.
