would it be worth getting one of these for 1080p ? , does any of the owners of this card run at 1080p ?
I do, runs Battlefield 4 maxed out with no issues.

Probably maybe even more, the 1gb ram on that 6950 really cripples them, go get a 290 it will eat through BF4 at 1900x1200.
hmmm very tempted just concerned about the temp issues i've been hearing soo much about, anyone had any issues here?
6950 had 2gb didnt it? tbh i cant remember, but i never had probs with bf:bc2
thx for the info , what other games have you tried on it please
COD: Ghosts, Max Payne 3 and Tomb Raider. Tomb Raider being the most taxing on my 6970's in crossfire, going to a single 290 Pro is a big improvement.
you still got the 6970's ?
My Sapphire R9 290 is currently at 1150Mhz Core / 1250Mhz Memory and its running beautifully but will need additional voltage in order to push up beyond this.
Mine seems to be maxed at 1150 core on stock voltage which I think is pretty damn impressive.
Are you guys using the stock cooler? If so, what fan speed % do you have it set to?
I'm on stock cooler - manually set fan speed at 55%.
I just done 1150 core 1350 mem 71c on 290
