I tend to use my computer more than I look inside it.I prefer something like a Reaper or Red devil

Taking a positive out of this.. some radeon cards are in stock at least!
There's probably more AMD cards in stock than the 5090 on release and they still wont sell them lol.

They have been manufacturing them for a while so I agree that their excuse seems to be off. Probably shoehorning in a 5600xt esque update last minute to try and squeeze out another £25 markup.

Taking him at face value, they really do need FSR4 to be excellent day 1 as its the difference between day 1 good reviews and tepid reviews followed up a few months later by “is FSR4 still bad” clickbait which says it’s now good but doesn’t move the needle for them.
If they can do something like DLSS override, where you can force FSR4 on any game with FSR it would be even better.

They've had 12 months to benchmark the 5070 and 5070 Ti so they can make 100% certain they have a product that's faster and cheaper?
They must be 100% certain. They cant release something now and "hope" it will be okay.

They should be confident of their ingenuity and product. They shouldn’t be missing an open goal of releasing early and pricing it right to “disrupt the market” like they’ve always said.
They’ll lose more market share as they’ll release too late and with poorer feature set for too high a price for people not to choose Nvidia for a little more.

Do you honestly believe they will lose market share by releasing 2 weeks after Nvidia? Those who are impatient may buy the 5070 if there is enough stock but those who can wait will be in the best position to get the better card.
Releasing early will not suddenly increase their market share either. Most people will still wait for Nvidia cards before making any purchase.
At the end of the day, if the 9070XT beats the 5070 convincingly at a similar price then there will be many who will buy them no matter when it comes out. Taking more time to add FSR4 to more games is absolutely the right move since that will make the biggest impact if it rivals DLSS this time.
