Just to reiterate my point earlier, there has never been better time for AMD to strike while the iron is hot. Especially if they had an idea Nvidia would effectively paper launch so maybe this is the real reason they pushed their launch back, build up inventory, demo their cards showing them competing/ beating Nvidia and then shocking everyone with a Mic Drop price that has people scrambling for the buy button and enough stock to really persuade people on Nvidia cards waiting on 5070/ti to jump. Literally make a “too good to be true” statement

RTX 50 Series Stock Update 14/02/2025

Stock Update:

RTX 5070 Ti launching Thursday 20th February @ 2pm

RTX 5080 sold out and stock listed weekly as more arrives with us

RTX 5090 sold out and pre-orders ceased

Stock ETAs are as follows:

RTX 5070 Ti ETA: 2-6 Weeks

RTX 5080 ETA: 2-4 Weeks

RTX 5090 ETA: 3-16 Weeks

RTX 5070 Ti will be launching with limited stock and restricted pre-orders, taken where we are confident we will secure additional stock within the ETA provided.

I think the way that AMD do Ray Tracing is also very innovative, even if right now the end result is not as powerful as Nvidia's solution i think in the long run AMD's will win out.

Nvidia depend on dedicated hardware and then software (which requires yet more hardware) denoising, AMD integrate their RT core directly in to the shaders, RT is an extension of the shaders, there is very little if any die space required, it scales directly with shader count instead of taking up a dedicated chunk of silicon and it doesn't require denoising, denoising adds latency.

These Monster Hunter results are unusable, the Time Spy Extreme results however...

The typical score of an RTX 4080 Super is around 13,700.
By comparison the typical score of a 7900 XTX is around 12,900

A score of 14,558 beats both of them, by more than a margin of error.

I honestly don't know what is wrong with AMD right now, by the leaks you have an amazing product and Nvidia cant match unless they drop price of 5080 and everyone is unhappy with Nvidia's antics, low performance gain, more money, melting power connectors, fake frames, paper launch with practically no stock what more do you need AMD?

Anyone have a 7900XT or XTX?
We could do with someone running the black ops 6 benchmark with the same settings as IGN with a 7800XT and a 4080 Super. @Legion do you fancy having a go with your 7800XT? It should generate a score that reads approx 73fps.

The settings are in my post above. We just then need a willing person with a 4080 Super.

Isn't cod an outlier for AMD unless that's changed

14700 I get on OC 5080 so yeah, this is very promising result for hopefully good price.

They may have needed the time to refine drivers or just do anything to insure the reviews go perfectly, there would be nothing worse than launch what is a great product but something went wrong in the reviews and that becomes the story.

Also... Nvidia have since delayed the 5070 launch.

Google AI gave me results that are a little on the high side for a 4080 S, no matter, like you have shown the point stands.

Promising.

Does anyone have a 4080... or any high end 40/50 series with 285K combo? even if its a 4070 Ti Super we can still gauge something from a Monster Hunter result like that, anyone? 4080, 4080S, 4090, 5080, 5090 anything????

I’m looking at a full new build, and giving my 6800XT /5900X build to my 2 boys, they already have a 6700xt /5800x build they share so this will be a PC each.

So I’m looking at a 9800X3D and whatever 9070XT AMD has to last me another 4-5 years.

Prefer a nitro as both the current cards we have at home are Nitros, but also happy to go with a Powercolor or XFX.

Won’t touch Gigabyte with a barge pole, not paying Asus Tax either lol.

Should be a decent upgrade I feel, weirdly I only play a 20+ year old game mostly anyhow, and a bit of Diablo 4 or rarely CoD.

Looks like the 5070ti prices have gone live 1,150 EUR/957 GBP for the cheapest model.

The 9070XT is going to match it performance wise so I would say a sub-700 GBP 9070XT AIB card is looking less likely.

Best get raiding the cookie jar, I would budget for at least 799 for the Nitro+
