maybe AMD just pump massive voltages through themSurely this has to be photoshop no way a 900w is minimum

No, I am just scanning my local marketplaces in the EU.I just can't see the XT being £600 seeing more performance leaks and 5070ti pricing

What it looks like is that Nvidia have cut the price of the 4080 Super stock to match the 5070ti launch week pricing. The working assumption therefore is that the 5070ti is 4080 Super speed (ish) and therefore they need to shift old stock.
If the read across is 9070XT<>5070ti<>4080 Super (raster perf.) then its likely Nivida will lock-step the 4080 Super stock run-down because they can't afford to without an excess inventory set of write downs.
Therefore if the Nitro+ launches at 799 or 850 GBP Inc it will still be at least 100 sheets cheaper than the equivlant Nvidia card and you will be paying the extra 100 for a bit of extra RT performance in the 5070ti and 4080 Super.
From early images I like the look of the reference model.
Could stretch to that if I had to, but it would have to be right at the top end of the rumoured performance. Basically needs to go toe to toe with the 5080 for that price to be worth it for me. Hoping it's 600ish£749 is my limit for 9070xt hoping I can get it below that though
I don't think anyone was expecting the 5080 to be quite such a wet fish, so AMD likely weren't anticipating that their previous gen XTX was only a few % of performance off for raster for the 5080.
id rather not spend that, but im not going to spend 30% above MSRP for a 5070ti..AMD stated they are targeting mainstream and yet here you have people willing to pay £700+
Of course, but I don't think anyone was quite expecting how poor the improvements would be over the 4080 / 4080 Super. The 5080 spec was known about before AMD delayed their launch
Which really leaves AMD with two options, aggressive pricing and absolutely destroy Nvidia or copy their asinine pricing -$50 and remain second fiddleOf course, but I don't think anyone was quite expecting how poor the improvements would be over the 4080 / 4080 Super.

Yep that's what I am guessing.Looks like the 5070ti prices have gone live 1,150 EUR/957 GBP for the cheapest model.
The 9070XT is going to match it performance wise so I would say a sub-700 GBP 9070XT AIB card is looking less likely.
Best get raiding the cookie jar, I would budget for at least 799 for the Nitro+
