*** The AMD RDNA 4 Rumour Mill ***

No, that’s without sales tax, so you’d typically see it land here for £599 with all the taxes.

Doubt we’ll see any under £700 though. Every part of the sales chain is price gouging.
See, I would be surprised if there weren't multiple cards under £650. Definitely more closer to the base price than what has been available with Nvidia.

If the prices convert properly and real world reviews are decent i might finally upgrade from my 2080ti. Should be a worthwhile upgrade right?

only going on SKUs in stock - there are no 9070s in stock

but there are 5070tis available to buy
Seems like you're comparing apples to sheep then...

I mean I think $600 was expected right?
It's not an exciting price (for me) but it's also not a bad price. Of course we still need to wait and see what you can actually buy them for when they are available. Also as always with these sorts of slides the performance comparisons need to be taken with a fair amount of salt.

I didn't bother watching the video, were there any comparisons with AMD's 7000 series cards?

HUB saying AMD didn't go low enough vs nvidia. Marketshare will go nowhere if nvidia get supply going and msrp cards land.

There is no MSRP cards for the 5070ti the lowest listing ever found was like $30 or $50 over MSRP and average price is like $100 too $200 over MSRP

IF and it's a big IF the AIB models are price at $599 for the 9070xt then it's a big win as it's around $200-300 cheaper than 5070ti's

omg AMD listened to the consumers while Nvidia poured fire on us all. Anybody that buys a 5070ti over 9070xt is either crazy or can't understand reviews. I am impressed with raytracing uplift, they have closed the gap significantly. Its a shame they could not make a 9080xt to compete at 4090 level performance.
You mean like the previous generation flagship beating performance at under $600 like AMD used to give us?

Make AMD Great Again.

Well yes, there is no supply, I doubt there will much if any 9070 msrp cards availability either.

What's the TLDR. I have a 3070. Didn't like the price of Nvidia 5000 series. Is the 9070 a good upgrade for a few years?
March 5th for real performance numbers (reviews)
March 6th for real prices (launch)

Should be close to double the performance for you tho, maybe.

Same as me and yeah after 26 years of Team Nvidia I'm moving over to AMD this time, much cheaper for slightly less performance than a 5070ti (obviously real world reviews will confirm) but coming from a 3070 yeah it's a good upgrade.

Looks like AMD knocked it out of the park (or other sports analogy), it's great to see everyone so happy. It's been pretty miserable and desperate recently with shortages of old and new cards.

Here's to AMD saving the day
They have possession of the ball, it remains to be seen what happens at launch and say the two weeks following it.

Has a more powerful card been ruled out by AMD at this stage?

As this is such a small die with relatively low power draw, surely they can make something that is close to 4090/higher than 5080 performance?

Sapphire Nitro 7900 XTX back in stock at £949.99

The 9070XT will be £899.99 no doubt.

Yeah will be a tidy upgrade - the xt is looking about 5070ti which is nice at £599 - I'd not pay more than £649 though.

Also AMD drivers age well and the cards speed up a lot - my 6800XT beats out a 3090 now which wasn't the case on launch day.
