*** The AMD RDNA 4 Rumour Mill ***

They have done this before, look at the 480/580 and the 5700XT

I don't expect anything else to come out, hell with some 9070XT's doing 340W I'm not surprised.

Based on AMD's charts the 340w 9070xt models are 2-4% faster than the base 300w models, so either rdna4 isn't great for overclocking or the 9070xt is already pushed hard by AMD at stock as a further 14% power can net as little as 2% extra performance

well god damn you amd - pricing just good enough not to cause upset but not quite good enough to cause a stampede :p still, looks like if stock is good and mrsp holds up they've banged out a bloody decent product. just a shame there's still nowt in my 400-450 price bracket.

Also still on a 3080, it's been 4 years.

50% uplift at the same price..........hmmmmm.......

Need to see how good FSR4 is vs DLSS to make a decision though.
You'd likely be able to get £250-£300 for your 3080. A 50% performance increase for £300? Sounds good to me.

Plus we didn't have someone talking absolute ******** about a midrange card being as fast as the top end of the last gen, and we were spared a gaudy leather jacket. Win win.

I mean he really drove that point home, saying it was our performance with no software uplifts.

Like they actually listened to people's responce to Nvidias presentation

Hmmmm..

That 9070XT Reaper will fit in my case, so on my shortlist.

I only have 315mm card length to play with and I suspect a lot of XT’s will exceed that, so good there is a least one that ticks the box for me.

288mm

298 x 131 x 58 mm, 2.9-slot

Completely false. Hasn't been the case since GCN. In fact, for the past year driver support only got worse. Look at KCD 2 release for example, still waiting for a driver update (missing 20% perf., which you can find easily on Linux f.ex. where you don't have to rely on AMD alone for driver support). They also fired a bunch of their devs in the US and started outsourcing, remembered it today when I saw the Serbian dude come up, which might explain why they've been slacking with the updates lately.

My first hand experience says otherwise, but its the internet and people think their opinions a fact.

I'm gaming on every game at 4k easily.

Wonder what the path tracing numbers look like...

Hopefully better than that demo.

I can't imagine many buyers are that bothered. Plus it's not like a 5070ti is going to give you a great experience in PT games unless you're playing at 1080p or 4K with DLSS performance and MFG but the latency will be hellish given the base framerate will likely be below 60.

Very tempted in all honesty. Lets hope there's enough stock to stop the scalpers and price gougers. Sub £600 and it makes a lot of sense.

Happy to wait it out if the prices are wayyyy north of that.

9060xt / 5060ti 8gb/16gb should hit that budget, performance yet to be known

No more 9070 rumours now that we know the official numbers. Onto the 9060s. Q2 is what they say so probably June i would say. Maybe 399 and 449 for the 9060 and xt respectively. Performance either side of the 4070?

4K 60 w/ DLSS P is doable, and that's fine. AMD's best last time was not even hitting 20 with FSR P at 4K. So long as the 9070 XT can at least cross 40 then that gets them into playable territory.
