*** The AMD RDNA 4 Rumour Mill ***

Sapphire and Powercolor are the oldest of the AMD exclusive board partners back to the ATI days.
We need HIS, MSI (traitors), and BFG (who only made AMD/ATI for a single series) back :)

Also, EVGA should pick up the pieces and start making AMD and Intel cards. The market is ripe.

#1 Sapphire
#2 Powercolour

Without seeing any in depth reviews id go with the above. If those are unavailable, id personally do a bit more research.

I had a Strix Vega64 and that thing was so Hot, I RMA'd it.
#2 Powercolour

Why not just go full-on Norman etymology and call them Pouvoircouleur?

I feel like Asus and Gigabyte really phone it in for the AMD models. They're fine and follow the generally overengineered base specs, but they're certainly not as attractive as the exclusive AIB's high-end models.

Anyone know why XFX aren't really sold here in the UK? Have had a bunch of these over the years and the designs are right up there with the PCs and Sapphies.

Please dont use words I dont understand, its harder to argue against.

My favourite thing recently has been seeing how much you recommend people pick up decent PC speakers in any thread. I love it.

I use 2x OLED TVs as my monitors so need a GPU with 2x HDMI ports (not very common).

I have not found active DP-HDMI adapters to be very reliable. They often react to static and can struggle with 10-bit full dynamic range RGB at times.

I believe there are only five 9070 XT models with 2x HDMI, all from either Sapphire or Gigabyte:
  • Sapphire Pulse (11348-03-20G)
  • Sapphire Pure (11348-02-20G)
  • Sapphire Nitro+ (11348-01-20G)
  • Gigabyte Aorus Elite (GV-R9070XTAORUS E-16GD)
  • Gigabyte Gaming OC (GV-R9070XTGAMING OC-16GD)

Slightly off topic, just looking at the PowerColor Hellhound description:

"1 x HDMI 2.1b,3 x DisplayPort 2.1a (only 2x simultaneous DP2.1 connections can be supported)"

Is it usual to only have 2 simultaneous DP connections? I've got 3 screens and currently using 2 DP and 1 HDMI on my old Vega 64.

GTX 1660 to a 9070XT should be a somewhat noticeable upgrade for me.
Not to mention 3700X to 9800X3D as well.
I'm in no rush though I'll wait until later in the year if I have to, I refuse to take part and encourage inflated prices.

This is just a sales tactic to prey on FOMO.

Not sure it is. AMD have done this in several of their past launches. Anytime they have done a rebate thing it was only for limited numbers, once they were sold out, cards reverted to their real MSRP.

Find out later I guess.
