Hi, Just check out places like the Windows store, Uplay and Origin. Yes it included the season pass but nowadays that's where a lot of the content is,

Examples:
Gears of War 4 Ultimate edition £79.99
Halo Wars 2 Ultimate edition £64.99 standard edition £49.74
Resident Evil 7 Deluxe £69.99
Forza Horizon 3 ultimate edition £79.99
Battlefront 2 deluxe £69.99 standard £54.99
ME Andromeda deluxe £54.99 standard £49.99
BF1 Ultimate £104.98 Deluxe £64.99 Standard £49.99
Far cry 5 gold edition £74.99
Very few people actually pay these obscene prices though.

Yeah most of us just buy from grey area sites or do the dirty and get illegitimate copies, the thing is it's not just the pricing but how many games turn out to not work correctly in the first place, I won't forget Splinter Cell not launching after I luckily only paid £3 on a punt from a key site, luckily it was fixed when I upgraded to Windows 10 which was strange.

So realistically when is the next "event" they might showcase and release (paper) RX Consumer Vega at?

I had a dream last night that I was in some computer shop and they had a 1080Ti for £150. I grabbed it. Got it home and realised it said GTX780 on it. But someone had also written 1080Ti on it with Tipex. Weird. Wonder what It means....

I can't imagine AMD would release a half baked product with sub par performance for public testing and then rely on journos to point out the bugs for them. I mean imagine all the negative press....

...actually I suspect your right!

Sadly I remmber the HD2900pro oh so well, Hot, expensive and slow

Honestly, hot doesn't bother me. If it's really fast and we'll priced. I don't care how hot it gets as long as it doesn't throttle. Why would I care. Certainly the least of my worries. I'm not going to be licking the die.

I agree in principle, but that's no excuse for a poor quality cooling solution. The only complaint I've had with AMD cards in the last 6 years really is the cooler sometimes being only just up to the job it's tasked with and no more.

Rightly so but it's a worrying trend, What could we do if they changed how they do business and cheap key codes became a thing of the past?
