I can see it already, in the next 72 hours members market will be flooded with 1080 and 1080Ti's from people wanting to upgrade.

why would you sell a 1080TI for vega? You would have to be mad or need freesync desperately enough.

No leaks yet, come on someone give us numbers please.

Quite possibly the most boring GPU design ever. I'm snoring. ZzzzZz

How old is the PSU. It'll run Vega at stock is my guess. No doubt it could've been done more efficiently but it'll run stock on a good psu. I'd be surprised to hear 650w wasnt enough, it'll be big news if that is the case.
The gigabyte spec thing is more like a disclaimer and because they havent or arent allowed to state a list of good psu. a lot of machines are built with the cheapest possible components just to tick boxes and psu ratings are famous for exaggeration also

The unit is around 14 months old. Yeah, I keep thinking that the TDP is insane for this card at dare I say "just" 1080 performance.?

If the 56 can just match a 1070 Will stick to my 980tis, they can match a 1070 most of the time from reading benchmarks etc.

Easilly the best vfm card right now even if i did buy them at full price theyve been well worth the money.

Someone who already owns the 1080ti and doing just fine is very different from somebody doing a new build maybe biased to Ryzen and AMD. Maybe thats the wrong thinking but I can see non forum OCUK buyers, etc not being half as negative as this thread has been, ie. no preconceptions.

I'm taking the prices as placeholders personally and assuming reviews say its an AMD 1080 :o I also expect the card to be like a small 300w space heater capable of heating an entire room lol
I suspect outside of these and other forums your going to have the less enthusiastic people who have only heard of Nvidia!

Problem is research is so easy nowadays and any buyer can easily check these things out. It would take a very leftfield buyer to actively seek out considerably less performance for more money and increased running costs.
