If the reviews come in and are as rumoured (see. Actually correct) and OCuk sell out then I have lost all faith in humanity to make reasonable judgements in their lives:)

LOL,I think you should have lost faith quicker - look at all those people spending £500 to £600 on the latest iPhone or Samsung smartphone which is only a small upgrade over their previous one.

That ship has sailed a long time ago!!

Doesn't matter the pricing or even the performance, some people will get them regardless, like some people bought the Geforce FX cards even thought hey were terrible.

Anyone deffo getting Vega 64 today?

Not a chance at where I'm expecting prices to fall. AMD aren't mugging me off, £450 is my absolute limit for the air cooled 64 as I'll be wanting an EK block for my loop, and there's no hope of that card coming in under £450. OCUK will put sky high prices on these, as will every other retailer because they know they'll sell one way or the other, many stupid exist on this planet that have more money than sense, but hey, it's their money right ;)...I have morals.

No doubt the people who complain and Nvidias pricing will be doing the same here won't they?
Oh no, I imagine they'll be jumping with joy to finally buy a Vega.

There's obviously those more neutral who won't be, but there will be plenty of hypocrites today

If miners didn't spoil the party I don't see why a base version of the 64 couldnt be had for £450. But I dont see it happeing. Plus I think AMD have made a mistake insisting on using HBM2 which is expensive.

Again look at this logically an AIR COOLED Vega64 according to them is consuming almost as much power as a water cooled Vega FE with double the VRAM,AIO and with higher boost clockspeeds. That is with half the VRAM,unless you think 8GB of HBM2 is magically adding nearly 50W more, instead of using 16GB.

The only reason they leaked the results early is to get a huge number of page hits.

How about we actually wait until all the proper reviews are out to see if this holds,or is some weirdness from that review site??
Maybe the Vega FE cards are higher quality silicon and have been binned. Hence, they run at a lower voltage resulting in lower power consumption. It would make sense if AMD did this with professional, more expensive cards.
