How you finding the card for performance.
Evening All, any one that bagged a COD code in the new promo fancy swapping for Watch Dogs Legion Code? 30XX series card required (I think).
Message me if interested,
Thanks.
I think they ran out a long time ago, i know some competitors still had codes but 99% sure ocuk ran out on launch day.Hey, I didn't get a promo code with my 3090 from ocuk. Is there a way to get one now? Thanks

no you shouldn’t lol but i totally understandShouldn't complain when you actually have the card I suppose!
Im on ultrawide 34” 1440p which is fairly close to 4kish and im fluctuating around 45fps in open areas to 71fps in closed areas. Ive set everything to high with the exception of geometry to ultra. Bloom on but blur and depth of field off.Has anyone else with a 3090 found playable settings (no drops under 60fps) for Watchdogs Legion in 4k? I find I cannot use RTX ever if I'm to achieve this.
I don't know why people bother trying to play an unoptimised minefield of problems game at launch, and no, 1440p UW isn't close to real 4K.no you shouldn’t lol but i totally understand

Ray tracing on high
the game looks good but yes not the best fps for a shooter...
Its un-optimised for sure, the update they released recently hasn’t made any changes if anything made it worse...I don't know why people bother trying to play an unoptimised minefield of problems game at launch, and no, 1440p UW isn't close to real 4K.

Gpu and cpu utilisation is poor as well i find.
how close is ultrawide 1440p 34” to say a 27” 4k?
Thanks for clearing that up! Im way offOnly used my 3090 for a bit too. But hooked up to my C9 OLED replacing my 1080ti and performance uplift is significant at 4k. Talking over double digit uplift in some games. Add in I can now use G-Sync which 1080Ti did not support with the OLED, + HDR 4:4:4 and dang its amazing.
3440 x 1440 = 4.95 million pixels
3840 x 2160 = 8.3 million pixels
so roughly 68% increase in pixel count so a fair bit.
Absolutely love the tubing on your rig!
