I've been meaning to getting around to watch hunter x hunter (new version), as I've watch hunter x hunter (old version) up to episode 62 and enjoy it. is the new version as good as the old one.

Eventually made it through K over the weekend (despite everything conspiring to try and stop me .... ******* power cut). Overall it was ok but seemed to lack some in, well story development ... also not helped by GoHands seemingly using the same colour palette as they did for Coppelion and it doesn't really click for me ...
It's worth reading the manga, the anime chopped quite a few bits out and changed the story halfway through.
Crunchyroll is starting to get more interesting manga in their list...
not seen the old version but the new version has managed to keep me watching for 200+ episodes...and I bore easily
It is good. I hadn't heard anything on it before I saw it on crunchyroll.
Don't know what the other guy is on about. As far as I can see there are 115 episodes live now.
I thought there were more episodes than there were.... easy mistake to make when you don't actually physically go and check
well I started watching one piece again but I started where I left off at episode 182 so far manage to stick it out until episode 382. so I see how much long I can watch until I need to take a break from it and watch something else.

Watched Wolf Children with the fiancee last night, it was a good watch, but slower and not as enjoyable as Summer Wars IMO.

I quite enjoy d gray man but they only ever dub 51 episodes out of 102. but I you can now get the other 51 episode fan subbed as in the past they was only the horrid HK sub version available.
I liked it and it was very sweet and sad. Not something i'd rewatch through

It was a sweet film, however there were a few ways I think it missed the mark emotionally, or could have been planned out to work better.
Nice film, just not sure I'd consider it better than Summer Wars although both had flaws.

Personally it didn't really do anything for me ... that's not to say it was bad just it didn't really do anything for me. I'd agree that Summer Wars (and TGWLTT) were quite a bit better.

Yep, I really liked Summer Wars. My fiancee hasn't seen it so it's on my re-watch list to show her when she has time around her Open Uni work.

Watch the US BD release of the second season of AKB0048 earlier .... it's not big and clever but I find it to be a nice little series.

I've had time to watch the first episode so far .... you're right it is quite absurd fun!
