The anime thread sequel (it's still not as good as the Manga though),

I'm so happy. One Punch Man is getting an anime adaptation. I've virtually stopped following any manga or anime other than OPM and Berserk, so this great news. I hope they do justice to Murata's art.

I'm currently watching EF (got the collection last week), which I'm enjoying, and trying to sort out my DVD's a bit again...

I'm torn about what to do with some of them, as they're in nice boxes but I could really save some space if I took them out (normal DVD cases are easy, discs go into a DJ box, covers in a folder, and the case either in the recycling or in the loft depending on type, but the loft is too damp for a nice box.

I've also been fiddling around a bit with Plex and my tablet/fire TV box which is looking to be interesting.

I liked Ef, (I actually have the first series on the Japanese DVD release as well as having the US BD release). If I remember correctly it had some really really good (for the time) sky art work.

I use Plex a lot ... although I could do with upgrading my server as it struggles with transcoding, which is normally ok as I have a couple of Mac Mini's I use for most of my watching with it and they just direct play but if I use my tablet, phone or NowTV box it struggles at times. Although I could do with a major NAS upgrade(s) in addition to the Plex server upgrade as well :(

I'm in the same situation with the DVD collection. Its taking way too much space up. Just bought a Pi2, and been playing around with that connected to my NAS. Only issue i have will be hard drive space, as i haven't looked to much into compression. then i can start putting them all into the loft.

Anyone still following Parasyte? I read the original manga in my teens a decade ago, so there's quite a big amount of nostalgia for me as I'm watching it. I think for the most part, it's a fairly good adaptation. I still question the music choice sometimes, and while most of the characters were updated but still recognisable, it's obviously the just went full "appeal to otakus" mode with Murano and Kana's designs.

I think there's two more episodes till it finishes.

parasyte... I'm still watching but it's kind of lost some of what made it good at the beginning for me personally.

Tokyo Ghoul Season 2... for some reason I prefered season 1, season 2 just seems like a load of fillers because the fight scenes seem 'less important'.

Luckily I haven't read either manga because those that have on myanimelist are saying neither are really that faithful

Has anybody been watching KanColle? I've been watching this on ChrunchyRoll, I need to catch up with the latest episode though.
strike witches on water as I called it... watched a couple of episodes and then didn't bother after that. Did it improve after the first couple of episodes?

Well the show generally is the same. Depends on which parts you found boring? Get some good action on the water in some Episodes and a few improvements to characters with some base attacking. I'd recommend you give it another go.

It's not bad, (although not in the same ballpark as A__a and quite a few others). I would say it's better than average but I wouldn't rate it more than that.

Does seem to suffer from being overhyped though.

Watched the final episode of Your Lie in April this morning. Overall I bought the series was very very good. Don't watch it if you want action, laughs or fan service. Do watch it if you like a nice sad story with good characters and a nice classical soundtrack.

I particularly thought that the way the last episode was handled was done well.

This evening I have been mostly watch a live action film called The Handsome Suit (japanese film with English subs) .... It's Japanese film festival time at my local cinema so time to watch much strangeness, and that's just the people who go! Letter to Momo is on tomorrow afternoon which I'm considering going to even though I have it on DVD

I finished EF last night which was good, the second season was was a bit emotional :)

I'm probably going to try and rewatch Angel Beats or something similar starting tonight or tomorrow.

Sigh, Letter to Momo is a delightful film but it's not really suitable for 4/5 year olds ...

Watched it at the cinema this afternoon and the number of parents who had brought along little kids, who maybe were to young for it, but obviously hadn't looked before bringing them (probably working on the principle that "it is just a cartoon")

Little dissapointed; just found out from my wife that the Princess Kaguya film from Ghibli is out, but is a very limited release and it'd be at least an hour or so travel to reach anywhere showing it :(
Wish they didn't do this, I have one of the biggest Cineworlds (with the test 4DX screen) and newest Odeon's within 10 minutes from me, and NEITHER of them are showing it :(

My wife is also pretty dissapointed :(
