The anime thread sequel (it's still not as good as the Manga though),

It's hard to say as it's also the name of a competitor to OCUK, but if you look here it's listed as items 3-6 in the directors works.
 
Just got home and did a bit of research re A*** and Athena
Actually BOTH of them died. Tomoko Kawakami was her speaking voice, and Eri Kawai, her singing voice (who also did much of the backing vocals for the soundtrack as well). Athena has truly been silenced forever

Slightly more seriously as much as I love the series one of the reasons I haven't watched it in a while is that I tend not to have much time when I can really concentrate on sub only stuff :(
So often I've got the dub on (at least for the second viewing) whilst I'm doing something else at the same time.

At the moment I've got about 100+ miniatures to get based and prepped for painting so I suspect I'll be half watching/listening to some older titles in my collection whilst I do them (and probably listening to some audio books).
 
Nearing the end of watching Psycho - Pass enjoyed it so far, It started off really well but has slowly been getting abit too basic story wise.

Last Anime I really enjoyed was both series of Sword Art Online.

With the way work is at the moment I'm just happy if I can get through a program without falling asleep ... :(

There are times though, on the simpler titles at least, where I'm following enough Japanese to get enough of a gist to not notice that the subtitles are not working (dodgy Plex betas not liking external subtitle files on some live action stuff) which is handy ...

Any recommendations? I'm not stuck to a certain genre as the ones I've been watching vary greatly.

Gunsmith Cats (OVA 3 episodes) (Action Crime Fiction)
Cardcaptor Sakura (My favourite anime of all time (Romance/Magical Girl FTW!!!! :P)

Hidamari Sketch (Comedy, Slice of life) (A personal favourite too)

how about psycho pass season 2 :p

We've had so many 'what anime next' posts that it's kind of useful to have an idea of what you've watched etc :)

Having said that...here's some suggestions

eureka seven
gundam build fighters
fate stay night
claymore
beelzebub (no longer on crunchyroll :()
hunter x hunter (new version)
log horizon
persona 4
full metal panic

Oh and seeing as jetpaczx said cardcaptor sakura... I'll raise you tsubasa chronicles and xxx holic :p
And personally I prefer the newer version of bubblegum crisis... tokyo 2040

Didn't know season 2 was out, currently watching the first season on Netflix, shall download that then :D

Anime I've watched so far:
Bleach,
Naruto,
Sword art Online,
Death Note,
Knights of Sidonia,
Space Dandy (not sure you can class that as a full Anime),
Attack on Titan,

Then the classics:
Gundam Wing,
Dragonball through to GT.
 
Death Parade which currently on ep9. Very good imo. The way they show people's emotion/mentality to judge whether they go to heaven or hell is excellent.

If you like psychological related anime I recommend this.
 
Didn't know there was a 5 EP OVA for Attack on Titan!

They also have a 2 part movie with cuts from the show as a recap.
 
I've been watching a few bits recently (Campionne for example), as I've actually had a little time to sit and watch :)

My copy of the Anime Encyclopedia arrived which I'm looking forward to browsing through.

And of interest to anyone with Durarura, Anime Limited have setup a page to request your replacement discs with the fixed subs (I thought my player was dying when I tried to watch it subbed at first).
