The anime thread sequel (it's still not as good as the Manga though),

finished Tokyo Ghoul √A, im not sure how i feel about it tbh, its good...just, cant quite put my finger on it.

Watching Full Metal Panic now....

I really should get the Second Raid on BD, I've got all of it on DVD, and the first two seasons on BD but not the third.
I was sorely tempted by the UK complete set, but couldn't justify £100+ on something I'd already got on DVD and two thirds on BD.

I saw on AOD that we're finally getting a blu-ray of "only Yesterday" in August :)
I think that's about the only Ghibli I haven't got on blu-ray yet.

My Otaku No Video kickstarter has shipped :)

I ended up going with the premium version with model and large book add-ons.

I'm still debating adding the car to the Riding Bean one, if just because I could use the car in wargames as either scenery or an objective.

Yep, mines shipped too ... from what I recall its the premium version without any add-ons (it's been a while). It is shipping to my parents though so I won't get it for a few months. Not getting the Riding Bean one as it didn't really interest me.

Went and watch When Marnie was there at the cinema this afternoon. Nice film and always good to see Ghibli on the big screen (especially subbed)

Just signed up to Crunchyroll Premium trial, anything on there worth watching (that isn't on Netflix). I initially wanted to watch Cowboy Bebop but it's not there :(

ahh

Finished no world break, its very very average

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, this is in a whole other league, its much better than the original, story is a lot more involved but isnt complicated to piece together.

Currently watching Ride Back, just a fun 12 episode to hold me over for a couple of days while i find something longer to watch, might watch Irregular at Magic High School after.

Finally got a hold of a dubbed version of Ergo Proxy, the sub was too much for me to process, so ill watch that very soon as well.

Netflix have added some shows recently so polished

Magi: Sinbad and Kuromukuro , shame that they've only put the first 13 episodes of each up though.

On with Mob Psycho 100 weekly releases but it's not touched One Punch Man as yet.

I enjoyed Heavy Object and Eureka Seven is a classic.

Currently liking New Game and Amanchu! (the latter reminds me of A__a, not in story, but in feel and character design).

Been out of the loop for a while; so, anime-bros of this mighty thread, spec me a top 5 from the past three years (less action and more sturm und drang is preferred. :p) If there's been anything like Monster or Bartender out lately, drop it in without a second thought. Cheers in advance. :)

Well the Otaku no Video release seems to be descending into a bit of a farce with the UK/EU copies ending up sitting for ages in NY and now the UK distributors failing to mail out the address confirmations last weekend. In fairness though Robert from AnimeEigo seems to be on top of the issues and active trying to get them fixed ... (and the issues seem to be with the company dealing with the UK/EU end rather than AnimeEigo themselves ...)

well I've order the Fullmetal Alchemist Ultimate Edition, little while ago for £129, so I'm now thinking it over while there still time to weather or not to order "Escaflowne Ultimate Edition" :)
