The anime thread sequel (it's still not as good as the Manga though),

Anime On Line's offers at the moment are pretty good, although for the last few days I think I've had most of them already (the samurai and vampire bundles were both a case of me having three out of the four titles in them).

[edit]
Just seen there is going to be a new "3x3 eyes" manga next year, that's a blast from the past :) (I still live in hope that some day we'll see more of it as anime).

So a very good deal if you went for it.

well if that what was in it, I wish had bought it as I've only got Aldnoah Zero out of that list. but didn't want to risk it as I already go quite few Anime limited title.

Glad I didn't go for the bundles as if I take out what I have got and what I don't want then what's left is worth less than the bundle cost.

Just finished an interesting online course called an Introduction to Japanese Sub-Cultures. The course covers various things like anime/manga/vocaloid/idols/cosplay and their various fandoms. It goes into the beginning of some of these and how they have changed over time. It should note that there is a section in the first week on BL manga but is not explicit. It's an online course with video content, reading material, the odd little test and online discussion between the students. Note that the course is an academic course rather than a pop-culture piece so it is fairly dry at times but I found it interesting despite this.

The course one of these massive online learning ones and is presented by Keio University and hosted on the Just Learn platform. It ran for 4 weeks and they quote 4 hours per week (I spent nowhere near that much time on it). You are encouraged to discuss each section in an online forum for that section with other students. The course is free to do although if you want a certificate of completion or attendance (what percentage of the course you do affects which of these you can get) then there is a relatively small cost for that. I think they'll be running it again next year (dates TBC).

I've not seen Blood C, but Blood + is roughly based on the same manga from memory (as is Blood the last Vampire), and is good :)

I received my box from Alltheanime through a few minutes ago, so I'm a happy Wolfy :)

Talking of mystery boxes, animeonline.co.uk are doing one today for £50 (for the BD version they're doing a DVD one cheaper), which will be 5 season one, or part 1 sets,l I'm tempted but I've got much of MVM's catalogue and given my TV was being a bit weird last night* I'm holding off any more anime buying for a while.

*It's about 8 and a half years old.

Finally caught up on Dragon Ball Super, and its actually good, the filler episodes are just poor, but when it gets going its insane!

I watched Harmony last night, its not as bad as what everyone made it out to be, the animation its self is quite good!

I'd like to get more movies, but hard to find what id like without investing time into them.

Little heads up, there are a bunch of all the anime titles going up on offer on Amazon at around 19:45 (for prime, 30 minutes later for non prime customers), they're amix of BD and DVD sets, some collectors editions.

Royal Space Force collectors edition (great film currently £18 on Zavvi), Kill La Kill vol 2 collectors edition, space dandy, blood lad, and gurrent lagaan (dvd collectors edition).
Remember to check prices on other retailers though, I've noticed Amazon's deals aren't always the best price.

Is there an English dub yet? DB is one of the few I can't watch in the original dub.

I know it's not anime but I just finished Volume 20 of Attack on Titan. Getting pretty good with all the battles

Apparently there wont be a English dub for a very long time, so i watched it Sub'd.

I was originally gonna wait for the dub, but Funimation said somewhere on reddit that we wouldn't get a dub for a while!

I've just been watching Expelled from Paradise which was pretty good, the animation seemed a little off at times but overall was good, the story enjoyable and the characters fun.
I liked the bit at the end after the credits.;)
I wonder if they left it open a bit for a possible sequel or TV series.as it felt like they could carry on with additional stories quite easily.

I managed to squeeze in Fuse: Memoirs of the huntress over the last couple of days as well, which was good and going in blind I had no idea what it was about so that was fun :) (normally when I buy anime I at least have a rough idea of what it's about).

Next up is probably going to be Aldnoah.Zero which is another blind buy :)

I watched Expelled from Paradise the other day as well and I'm came to the same sort of conclusion as you. In general it was interesting and pretty good overall but there were times where it was let down by the animation (for me the characters looking CGI)

Aldonah Zero is brilliant, one of the few i wish was longer! You'll enjoy it no doubt

Eng dub has been confirmed. It's going to happen. I think I read that recording begins in March or May this year? Could be wrong though.

I'm used to watching it in Japanese now :-)

Oh I'll definitely rewatch in English. Sean Schimmel is worth it alone!

if you talking about the eng dub on Aldonah Zero it already been done as season 1 has it on it and season 2 has it on to when it released this month
