The anime thread sequel (it's still not as good as the Manga though),

My message here where I tried to give you guys first dibs/early headsup to let me know if you'd be interested in the first batch of my anime clearance got removed, so I've now listed it fully on the MM here:

I can't believe the prices that version of Berserk is going for on eBay right now?! (Well I kinda can after Kentaro Miura's death last month, but let's just say I've seen it advertised over £100 by itself new with 45 copies sold at that price!! I am not a scalper so not asking anywhere near that much!)

In other news, the Funimation sub runs out in a few weeks so been trying to get through a few bits in the last couple of weeks; finally managed to make it through Rising of the Shield Hero - genuinely enjoyed it, surprisingly dark near the beginning and quite a decent story; also saw Sleepy Princess in the Demon Castle with the wife, and quickly trying to get through Higurashi GOU.
Loved the bit where they played the original OP at the end of S1, I'm not a massive fan of the new art style, but it still manages to be a creepy series, and a pretty unique watch!

I liked both of these a lot, sleepy princess was totally daft but fun!

I saw Your Lie in April recently that was really good, and finally watched SAO, which was a lot better than I thought it was going to be.
 
If there is no interest here, I will try AUKN; just wanted to give people I've interacted more with in recent years, first dibs!

Sword Art Online is actually not bad. Kirito ends up becoming a complete Mary Sue though :)
 
Oh yes it's far from perfect, but I was expecting it to be hot garbage, so I was pleasantly surprised when it wasn't haha!

A lot of people online I saw slating it, but I like to form my own opinions :)
 
Yeah, saw the first two series, and the film when it came through the cinema a few years back.
I really like the concept, just not so much the execution at times, but it could be much worse.
 
Season 3 and 4 really kick the art up another gear if you've not tried them yet, can't say that the story massively improves with it, but I found it serviceable enough. Seems to carry on the foundation of the better art seen in the Ordinal Scale movie if you liked that.
 
This is an oldie that i never got round to watching for whatever reason, infact i completely forgot about it... Only just remembered it cos i watched a clip on youtube.

Neo Tokyo! I think any mad anime fan will have watched this, especially in this era of cyberpunk Japan.

Thats one hell of a collection! I still have some original series including Crying Freeman and Devil Man on VHS lol! Good luck with the sale, im sure someone will snap some of those up!
 
Haha nice. I used to have a much bigger collection but have got rid of some of it over the years.
A lot of incomplete singles/discs in the first bundle but ideal of someone who's got scratched discs etc.

The second batch will likely be even larger as got a lot more boxed series to clear out eventually, but got to get round to watching or at least attempting to watch them first which is the difficult bit haha

There are some I will never get rid of though, like my Spice and Wolf collection, original US Toradora release, Elfen Lied or my boxed Shakugan no Shana collection.

Wow just looked at AUKN forums and the last time I did much stuff or sold some stuff there was 2015. Man time flies.
Look back and don't regret the stuff I shifted on, Basilisk, Wolf's Rain etc but makes me wonder how long I've sat on some of this stuff, over a decade lol
 
I'm mainly gunning for/buying Collectors Editions with boxes etc otherwise I may have been interested in some of what you posted before :)

Demon slayer film is very good in my opinion. I've watched all the Fate HF movies and loved them all... the 2nd one is grim in tone.

I watched it last night.. Damn it was fantastic.. Engaging, great action and emotional. Although, as with the first series Hashibira and Agatsuma are annoying as ever and at times is great comic relief but at other times its just annoying. Also cant wait for S2 :D
