The anime thread sequel (it's still not as good as the Manga though),

don't forget that "Gundam wing", "Gundam iron-blood orphan", "turn a gundam", "Gundam Reconguista in G", "after war gundam x" and "mobile fighter g gundam" are all standalone series that not a part of the mainstream gundam series. there also "gundam build fighter" but it isn't real gundam series in my book. the new "Mobile Suit Gundam: The witch from Mercury" is supposed to be the first real gundam series since "iron-blood orphan" as again "Gundam Build fighter" doesn't count. I haven't watch any of "the Witch from mercury" yet will wait until all episodes have drop and binge watch it.

Tempted to go watch One Piece Red, it's got a small cinema release this weekend and it's being shown in Imax.

Never watched it at all so was worried that you had to know something about the story to watch the movie?

The films are pretty much stand alone so you can watch it without knowing who the characters are and what their skills are, granted you might not smile as much in the hype moments when they get to show off like most anime films do.

Was browsing Reddit/cartoons and see a lot of people go on about song of the sea. Any good?
Not really Anime, it's an Irish animation studio, but it's amazing and one of my all-time favorite western animated movies. Painfully gorgeous to look at, almost like one of my story books from when i was a young child, had me in tears at the end

Safe for kids to watch aged 7?

Absolutely, but there's a subplot that would be a big spoiler that will have adults blubbing at the end that the little ones probably would go over their heads.

The mom of the kids had already passed away and the father sees her spirit one last time at the end of the movie, to say it was emotional is an understatement.

I finally caught up and was able to watch some of the new Bleach, it's a significant improvement over the previous instalment, the quality jump is also kind of insane. It's made better not just by the quality improvements though, the storyline here is back to being interesting again.

Liking how the VA's still sound like their originals, not sure if they switched up any roles, but they at least sound familiar if not all the same people doing the voices.

The remixes of the original songs are on-point as well!

CSM is really good, that and Bleach are my two top shows this season. Denji is a very goal-oriented fellow if you give him the right reward ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I've almost run out of stuff in my pipeline to watch so I'll have to search out some new stuff to keep me busy. I started Yuru Camp which is so far pretty chill.

Bleach and CSM remain good watches, I'm catching up with MHA as I heard the new season is good.

I was at the end of S3 so I've done S4 so far, onto S5 soon.
After the Overhaul arc, the show turned into boring filler/slice of life, so I skipped most of the 2nd half of S4 and went to last 2 eps. Endeavour fight was awesome.

I'm still enjoying Reincarnated as a Sword this season.

I've dropped Spy x Family because last 4 episodes have all felt like filler ones, and I'm a bit bored of them, I want story progress but I can tell the anime wants to just slow the pace down or not progress it at all. Such a shame because Part 1 was genuinely good, and Part 2 started pretty well.
