The anime thread sequel (it's still not as good as the Manga though),

Perhaps Im being harsh, the actual concept interested me, but you could tell it was aimed at the younger viewer; which I honestly feel Naruto handles better, especially later on when its a bit darker.

Whats these series like:
Spice and wolf
Code Geass
Darker than black

Haven't seen the others, but Code Geass is by far one of my favourites. I highly recommend giving the first few episodes a watch to see if you get on with it (it was re-released in the UK recently so the First Season boxsets are going for a pretty good price on both Blu-ray and DVD).

Nimdok i though sod it ill go with my gut and went and ordered season 1 and 2 blueray, so i hope i like it:D
I know nothing about it apart from what amazon reviewers raving about it and the little description. Thats how i picked Death Note and i loved that.

Good choice! Hope you enjoy it :D It was one that I watched at random, and I'm so glad I did.

Code Geass isn't too bad at all, you'll probably enjoy it.

I love Spice and Wolf as can be seen from my signature, but its a very marmite series, and certainly isn't action packed, so given the series you mention having watched, it might be too different/slow as its certainly not a fast paced or action series.

Darker than Black might be up your street too, although I found it highly episodic.

Based on your list of shows, I'd definitely recommend Black Lagoon.

How many seasons have they got planned?

Just the 2 (stopped airing a few years back), and I hope it stays that way despite the rumours because it ends in a way that I wouldn't want it to be continued. However there are 2 OVAs as well, with one still in production but they come between the 2 seasons.

I read a review on amazon it sounds kinda girly, what do you think?
Is there just 2 seasons or is there still more to come?

Hmmm, it is a romance at the heart of it, not particularly girly though, the mainstay of the actual events revolve around trading! The series is very marmite, a large part of why the series is so good is the interaction between the two main characters, but you may not appreciate that. It's certainly not to everyone's tastes.

Just 2 seasons, perhaps more to come, a lot of books being translated as we speak (the anime is based off a novel series)

FullMetal Panic would be another good recommendation for you if you get on with Geass. Season 1 is more mixed comedy v serious, Fumoffu! is pure comedy, and Season 2 is a bit darker.

Cheers i think ill get the following over then next few weeks:
Gungrave
Full Metal Panic
Gantz
Spice and Wolf

Whats Trigun like, its meant to be very good and made by the same guy who done gungrave. Also berserk is that any good?

Another one that simply adores Spice&Wolf, certainly not girly at all. In fact it gives a great insight into the mind of a trader. I've personally lost hope that more seasons are to come as it's populartiy has faded in Japan now and has largely been forgotten about. Hence i'm collecting the novels now to complete the story, unless Alex knows something i don't

Give the frist episode a spin right now..

trigun and berserk are both very good indeed, also berserk as had a revamp/reboot of sort in the form of movies. also i would suggest looking at hellsing, hellsing ultimate, noir, madlax, cannan, burst angels and samurai deeper kyo.

The first and third Full Metal Panic series are very good (the second is more comedy than the main story in the other series).

Another option is Birdy the Mighty Decode.

I'd agree that Spice and Wolf is well worth a watch as well.

anyone use crunchyroll? I can't quite seem to see what is in their library of shows.

Doesn't seem like a lot if the alphabetical section is there whole library...
