The anime thread sequel (it's still not as good as the Manga though),

Finished watching Samurai Champloo for the second time, i really do love it. I wish there was more samurai series similar to being awesome.

I've still got to finish off watching that - waiting for a region free blu-ray player! Samurai Seven wasn't too bad and Champloo sometimes reminded me of Cowboy Bebop (wonder how long until this comes out on blu-ray other than the Japanese release).

I quite liked Samurai 7 with it's mixture of samurai and steampunk genres. I must get around to re-watching Samurai Champloo sometime before the heat death of the universe.

I seem to remember reading there's a new UK anime co coming along and they were intending to do a Cowboy Bebop BD set as one of the first releases; so keep your eyes out, it may appear.

This arrived today, Asuna-chan (Imprisoned version) from Sword Art Online.

The colour always looked a little faded to me in the photos, but in preson it's bright and colourful, my poor SGG2 doens't do it justice. :D

It looks like Manga have listed a load of releases on Amazon, including the Highschool of the Dead pack with OVA, at what I'm sure must be a missprice (£10.50 for blu, £9.50 for the DVD).

I've ended up ordering the FMA: Brotherhood complete set rather than just the 3 Blu ray sets I needed, it was about £3 less than the remaining individual sets :p

Excellent! Here's hoping Trigun follows shortly afterwards :)

Yep, I was correct:
This is them: http://www.alltheanime.com/

They're headed up by Andrew Partridge who's also been involved with Kaze in Europe; and he's mentioned he'll be working with some of the people involved with NIS' US releases to try and get the best quality video and audio he can.

And yep, Cowboy is confirmed on BD:

Here's a blogcast interview with Andy, haven't listened yet but could be interesting:

Hellsing Ultimate 5-8 blu ray as well , no signs of a 1-4 listing though
