The anime thread sequel (it's still not as good as the Manga though),

Cheers i think ill get the following over then next few weeks:
Gungrave
Full Metal Panic
Gantz
Spice and Wolf

Whats Trigun like, its meant to be very good and made by the same guy who done gungrave. Also berserk is that any good?

I loved Gungrave , one of my all time fav's along with spice and wolf

It looks like Manga have listed a load of releases on Amazon, including the Highschool of the Dead pack with OVA, at what I'm sure must be a missprice (£10.50 for blu, £9.50 for the DVD).

Well I've heard that the RRP is £14.99 for the BD version and £12.99 for the DVD version, so it's unlikely to be a misprint and the cover that is shown on the BD version seems to have taken some inspiration from the US release.

their two listing of High School of the Dead in blu-ray on amazon. one is listed as "High School of the Dead" @ £13.00 the other is listed as "High School of the Dead: Drifters Of The Dead Edition" @ £10.49 the different between them is that "High School of the Dead: Drifters Of The Dead Edition" contain both season 1 and ova where "High School of the Dead" is only season 1 both are blu-ray

Aye, I've got the old version and have pre-ordered the new to get the OVA ;)

Demonix, I hadn't realised the RRP was that low, I guess Manga are starting to officially reduce the price of "older" releases now (IIRC the Eden of the East set with both films and the TV series is less than the original TV series was on it's own).

not to mention from what i saw of the trailer in the ghost in shell: arise thread it look like it could be prequal to ghost in shell movie from what you see in it, for example young major learning her new cybernetics abilities.

Just watched 5 centimeters per second, thoroughly enjoyed it, it was a great story however i was amazed by the art work, the attention to detail and sheer amount of detail was mind blowing.
truely a beautiful piece of animation.

Yep, it's a great film and looks amazing (particularly on BD).

Didn't read the whole thread, but in case you didn't know... apparently Tite Kubo just made a deal for a new Bleach Anime.

He tweeted about it (in japanese)

Watch the second season of Baka to Test on Funimation's BD release today.

It's generally quite a good comedy series but I don't think that it was as good as the first season. There just didn't seem to be any progression in the series.

That was sort of what I thought when I watched the Manga release this week.

I'm not sure what I'm going to watch next, I may throw Redline or waterworld ;) on tomorrow.

Ive watche 13 episodes of code geass now, so far i would give it 7/10. Im enjoying it but it doesnt feel like anything special or stands out. Of course ill watch it to the end as i do like it but its got nothing on my favourites.

Just ordered:

Trigun Movie: Badlands Rumble Blu-ray

Just wait until the final episode of the series, it all ties together so beautifully :) one of my favourite endings to a series.
