The anime thread sequel (it's still not as good as the Manga though),

Watched Suisei no Gargantia today and really enjoyed every moment of it, was enjoying it so much that I lost track of time and I was left really disappointed when it ended. Can't wait for the next episode.

My next favourite series this season is Hykka Ryouran Samurai Bride (I collect the figures), I thought the first episode was a bit of a let down but I still love it to bits, hope it improves over the series.

Aku No Hana was a nice little show, at first I wasn't sure if I was going to like it or not as it was like someone flimed it "live" then "Animelised" everything, but it was pretty enjoyable.

Hataraku Maou-sama! is going to be good, like Suisei No Gargantia, I was lost watching it as I was enjoying it so much. Oreimo 2 started this week too and am hoping there be a lot of Kohai action in it, when she got asked "that" question, she went all red and shy, loved it. :)

Photokano is going to be awesome, the first episode was fappable. :p Little Busters ended pretty nicely, was a nice fun series.

My favourite series has ended from last season, Love Live! It really should had been longer then 13 episodes, would had been best if it was made 24 or 26 episodes, so am hoping it get a second season just like Girls und Panzer.

Watched a few first episodes earlier myself ...

Shingeki no Kyojin ... didn't think much of it ... not really my cup of tea overall.

Aku no Hana ... to be honest I found this pretty boring. The background art was very nice but I wasn't too convinced by the animation style for the characters and the plot seemed lacking. I normally like this sort of series but this just left me cold.

Suisei no Gargantia ... I'll agree with IronWarrior on this one, really enjoyed the first episode of this ... plenty of action.

Photo kano ... seemed quite generic really ... it wasn't bad but you can already predict most of the humour for the rest of the series. I don't think this is going to really be intellectually challenging.

Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Come wa Machigatteiru ... was actually better than I was expecting. It seems like it's going to be a pretty generic series of it's type but it was a reasonable first episode.

Clannad is very good as a drama with comedy at times, but may not be everyones cup of tea (I liked it enough to end up getting both the original sub only version, then the sub/dub version from the states and consider getting the UK release).

Angel Beats is pretty good, although I really need to rewatch it.

I haven't seen Canaan so can't comment on it.

All three of them are good.

Clannad (and the second season Clannad After Story which you need to see to complete the story) is one of my all time favourite series and I have spent waaaaaaay to much on different releases of it :)

Angel Beats ... a very good interesting series with some great moments.

Canaan ... very good action series.

I own the US editions of the latter two and the US (sub only) and Japanese DVD LE and BD releases for the former.

if you like canaan try noir, madlax and Najica Blitz Tactics

Shingeki No Kyojin & Devil Survivor 2 will be the animes of this season without a doubt.

Aku No Hana may also be a great story even if someone sucked any and all moe out of it.

The second episode of Suisei no Gargantia was great, like the first it had me hooked from the start to the end! Can't wait for the next one.

Yuyushiki came out today and really enjoyed that, it's cute and funny.

Figured this'd be the best place to let people know - Namco Bandai have unveiled the EU Collector's Edition for Tales of Xillia over at their store. It's currently going for £79.99 and includes the Soundtrack, a 21.5CM figurine of Maxwell, and a 100 page artbook (with game included of course). Have preordered mine already as I refuse to miss out on this :D

Finished watching a Winter 2013 series today called Kotoura-san.

Really the season wasn't what I expected going into it ... on the surface it would appear to be a light romantic comedy about a girl who can read minds but when you actually watch it it does get a bit darker at times as the girl struggles with the problems within and outside her family caused by her talent. Whilst it is a romantic comedy, and is funny and light at times, but there is slightly more to it than that.

I loved Kotoura-san such a fun and cheerful series.
