The anime thread sequel (it's still not as good as the Manga though),

To be honest you'll probably think it isn't because it's a lot more laid back a film ... don't expect it to be anywhere near as busy as Howl, if you go in thinking that you'll be disappointed at what is a great film.

Ghibli-wise if you liked Howl then you;d probably like Spirited Away.

I didn't get on with My Neighbour Totoro, i thought Spirited Away and Howls Moving Castle was by far the best Ghibli they've made, loved Princess Monokie as well.

Can't wait to see what you thought of Spice and Wolf

Just finished watching Tontoro. It was ok, probably a bit kiddie for me but it was enjoyable. I did laugh when the older sister asked a farmer if he has seen her younger sister as shes lost. The farmer replys "no i didnt but i would remember if i did" the way he said it sounded not so innocent:p

7/10.

Spirited away tomorrow, then ill watch black lagoon and finally spice and wolf.

United Publications have it listed at a penny under £60, and you'd get it a lot sooner if you were planning to use the free shipping option on amazon

FMA:B is still showing in my amazon orders list, so it could be that they've been told it's going to be delayed or something (I ordered it at £59.99 when it first popped up. as it was less than buying the 3 remaining sets I needed).

Spirited Away is my most favourite anime movie. Howl's Moving Castle and Princess Monoke are both fantastic too.

If anyone likes the more laid back, character driven and Shinto themed anime, I recommend Natsume Yuujinchou. It's about a boy who, like his grandmother before him, can see spirits. He inherits a book his grandmother made containing the names of deities that she took from them. He basically goes around giving them their names back. Its a slow but sweet anime that I like watching once per day.

Just finished watching spirited away, really enjoyed it the story was very well done. Animation was really good (still not at Howls standard) and the characters were pretty clever.

8/10

Ill make a start on black lagoon tomorrow.

Yeah this has left me somewhat annoyed. I must have been one of the unfortunate few who bought the Blu-ray volumes at release before finding out they had canned the rest of the conversion so was stuck with 2 volumes out of 5. Really glad to see they've decided to pick it up again, but I've also opted for the boxset (instead of paying the £30 or whatever it is for each of the remaining discs nevermind, it looks like they've dropped to £21.50 each now) so I'm going to have 2 odd volumes out :p Guess I could just sell them.

Im seven episodes in on Black Lagoon, so far so good. The animation looks really good, especially in blueray. The characters are pretty interesting so far, and boy can they fight:D

These two arrived today. :)

Sword Art Online Japanese cotten hand towels or what we call in Kendo a Tenugui. They can be used for anything but in Kendo we wear these under our Men's (Protective helmets) to soak up the sweat.

I don't really use them much but like to collect them. :p
