The anime thread sequel (it's still not as good as the Manga though),

just finaly orderd the following for something to watch over the next couple weeks. I think i may of gone overboard on the spending:

Ive been meaning to get spice and wolf for quite a while now after someone on here linked me the first episode in this thread.
I watched The girl who lept through time on Netflix as i was bored and i heard it was good. When i finished watching it, i couldnt believe it i thought it was epic. Ive decided to be a lot more open minded in what i watch now. Hence ordering aload of studio ghibli films, ive never seen any so i thought why not. Also bought Summer Wars, cause its made by the same people who opened my mind, so im praying its atleast half as good.
Black Lagoon was in my wishlist so i knew i wanted it at some point as i only put things that i must have in there so i hit the order button on that.
As for Fire Emblem, played the demo couple days ago, loved it.

I think I've got all of them bar the blu-ray versions of Black Lagoon (I want to pick them up, but not at the current price) Howl, and the game :)
 
To give you an idea of how good I think they are, I've got Spice and Wolf at least twice now ;) (DVD and Blu-ray), and will be buying Mononoke and Spirited Away on blu as soon as they appear :)

On a slightly different subject, I watched Okami-san And Her Seven Companions (the new UK release) over the last couple of nights, which was enjoyable, although I could quite see it running for another 13 episodes or more.

Also, I don't think it's been mentioned here yet, but it looks like Kiki and Grave of the fireflies have been put back (again), this time to July.
 
just finished durarara ending was ok but found it abit lacking something
really liked the characters specially the bartender lol

hope there will be a season2 and more of celty :D

Looks like Porco Rosso is the next one out in Japan (July) so it'll probably be time to look out for pre-orders for that over here at the end of this year / beginning of next.

Just finished watching Summer Wars, i thought it was pretty good. The animation was very well done. I enjoyed the story but i felt i wasnt gripped by it, or the characters as much as i was by The Girl Who Lept Through Time.

And ive just finished watching Howls Moving Castle. Just brilliant everything about it. I really cant see how studio ghibili can make a better anime.

Just a heads-up again for those who might be interested (probably a larger number in this thread) - The Limited Edition of Persona 4 Arena has been announced over at Zen (the payment is immediate from what I can tell, not taken at dispatch), and a Bonus Offer on the Standard Edition over at GAME which nets you a "12 Vinyl of the game's soundtrack. I've ordered both 'cos they both look amazing!

12 vinyl???? Who nowadays plays these.hell who has even still got a turntable ?:confused:
 
Just finished watching Princess Monokie. It wasnt as good as Howls castle, i thought the animation wasnt as good. But then it is a lot older, and its not in blueray. But it was still descent enough. I enjoyed the story and the characters were great.
I cant make out how this got a pg rating and not a 12. People lose arms and heads and lots of deaths:p
