Yeah I don't know which sid eto take tbh, youtube shows both sides of the divide this time to me unlike the trump smear campaign lol. pally people have a right to defend themselves of course but what's caused the war? what started it? are their no dead babies on the Israel side? which side has attacked other countries and in thename of what etc...it's a very conflicted debate where you can't just agree with everything from the one side of the argument war and what have you and so forth.

Short summary

1) Israeli courts evict Palestinians from their houses that have been Palestinian since 1967. This is a war crime. Their justification was 'It was Israeli owned land before 1967'. But much of Israel was Palestinian land prior to 1967 and they won't give any of it back so it's a racist court system

2) Palestinians protest and some throw rocks

3) In the most Holy day of the Muslim year when Muslims are praying in their most holy mosque Israeli forces storm the mosque shooting 100s of worshipers with rubber bullets. This results in mass casualties and several deaths

4) In response Hamas sends rockets to Israel. Israel has a rocket defense system which intercepts most of these

5) Israel starts to level and massacre Gaza

Then 4 and 5 repeat back and forth

Part of the reason behind this is Israel's Prime Minister needs a distraction as he's facing corruption charges and he can't form a government because he doesn't have a majority

When someone gets evicted from their house, it isn't a war crime.

It isn't in the uk or south Africa when white farmers lost their land etc.

It may be a crime, but not a war crime.

According to the United Nations, a war crime is a serious breach of international law committed against civilians or “enemy combatants” during an international or domestic armed conflict.

A war crime occurs when superfluous injury or unnecessary suffering is inflicted upon an enemy. In spite of the outrage caused by the bombing of a school or a country’s TV station, such actions do not necessarily amount to war crimes. Such bombing will only be a war crime if the extent of civilian casualties resulting from the attack is excessive compared to the military advantage gained from the attack.

Your talking about nation States in the past versus a stateless people who are denied basic rights who do not even have a army and have zero chance of defeating Israel.

There basic human rights are being taken away from them, there land and homes constantly stolen by the Israelies.

It really is apparent which side is the provocative here.
 
#### Israel they deserve everything thrown at them and more. You would think that being pursecuted for 1000years or whatever cocked up narrative they have re-written you would think they would know what it is like on the other side and not repeat it.

It's not an eviction within the law, it's ethnic cleansing and the annexation of Palestinian land

I think the Palestinians are going to have to make a choice, stay and put up with it or just go and ask a 3rd country to take them.

I'm sure Israel would pay them all off to leave.

But at the same time we need to see an end to the two faceless of Israel where on one hand they are effectively cleansing their own country but on the other hand helping immigrants move to EU countries.
 
While the evictions etc absolutely should not be happening and must be stopped, lets not forget that the goal of the Palestinian authorities is not peaceful coexistence with Israel, but the destruction of the state.

Let's not also forget the use of the civilian population by the Palestinian authorities as human shields, which is also a war crime.

Let's also not forget that the Palestinian authorities do routinely target Israeli civilians, the fact that they are defended reasonably successfully doesn't change that either.

There is plenty of wrong on both sides of this conflict, and both sides need the change their outlook and behaviour.

There can be no peaceful coexistence.

The Palestinians need to go for a settlement and relocate and end 70 years of suffering.

Or what limp on for another 70 in squalor. It makes no sense.

Nobody is going to take in a group who routinely advocate violence against their perceived enemy and everyone who supports them. The surrounding Arab countries wouldn't take them in as it would indicate they have lost in their aim to get rid of Israel.

Sounds like what had been happening in Birmingham etc for over a decade.

a foreign entity muddling with UK politics, and providing gifts and help MPs get further into the government?
