As for the VRM design - a good 4 or 6 phase design is more than enough for air/AIO water cooling.

Unfortunately, for deliveries, us poor saps as the social side of things don't really get up-to-date info, last thing we were told was that stock would hit UK shelves this week.

So you don't have any information at all and can't query internally?

At this point I'm starting to think there's a guy from China with a canoe full of Asrock.
We've called the guy on the canoe to check when he expects to arrive. Last we heard of him, he was on the Red Sea, close to the Suez Canal.

Well they weren't totally lying, my x370 Professional Gaming and 1700 shipped yesterday and is arriving today, still not in stock on the website so it must have been a small batch!
Glad to hear you got yours! Plenty of demand, and limited quantities has been the name of the game, and not just for us at ASRock either. Awaiting more info on future shipments.

Hi AsrockMB, I'm interested in the Asrock X370 Taichi AMD Motherboard and would like to overclock the Ryzen 1700.
Could you please tell me what settings I have to change in the BIOS
From what Ive read 3.8 or 3.9ghz is pretty good.

Thanks in advance.
8 Pack put it rather well, below:

Taichi I can definitely recommend based on my testing.

Hello AsrockMB,

I want to go for a 16GBx2 memory setup with my Ryzen config but I can see on the Taichi webpage that no kit of such capacity has been validated yet. Is that likely to change soon (validation in progress?) or are you leaving it to the user to "gamble" when it comes to buying the right 2x16GB kit?
We have very limited info on 16GB sticks at the moment, hence nothing on the QVL. Any 16GB DIMMS that work will obviously be added, but there's nothing as of yet, like you say. At the moment it's a gamble, but we're working on it.

@AsrockMB

Hi,

Are you planning to releise Extreme4 MB with X370 chipset? (like Z270 Extreme4, for example)
And if YES, when can we expect it? :)

Cheers,
Can't comment on future products, we're afraid. All we can say is that more models are coming in the future.

C6H is working well on latest BIOS. 3.9 and 3250 RAM (Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200).

If anybody is thinking of jumping ship i can recommend it.
Thanks, but I have a feeling we'll stick to our own products. :D

Any information on the availability of the X370 Killer SLI ?

I am debating building a ryzen rig and this is the board I will be waiting on.
End of the month is still our latest info.

so why did you take out legacy usb ?
Checking with the guys who has the info.

Any updates on stock for the professional gaming x370? End of the month was quoted for taichi and the other x370 board?

Really getting to the point when i need to get my system sorted and if it is not this week then i need to switch.
End of the month is all we're told by the sales staff as well. No specifics, but all models should see some availability.

just contacted them in regards to my pre-order for the K4....informed it is a week or so away !:mad:
Yeah, sorry - not all models in this shipment either.

How are Biostar regarded these days for motherboards?
You don't see them on the OCUK forums, do you? :D

(Sorry about the lack of K4s in this shipment though - sad to see you go.)

Someone must have known prior to arrival that the K4's weren't part of the shipment. I've had all the gear now for 3 weeks and still no date for a board. Cancelling my K4, ordering the MSI Carbon, (the Taichi is just too expensive for my needs) can't just keep waiting and waiting.
Somebody definitely did know, but not us handling the social bits for the UK. Sorry if you felt misled, we've acted on and conveyed the info the sales people have given us.

I've just ordered an ASRock Intel Z270 SuperCarrier 4-Way SLi Kaby Lake ATX Motherboard - Excited!
We're excited too. Do share pics once you receive it, will you? :)

Why are the gears on the Taichi all random? I mean I could deal with totally random but its like they've tried to connect them together and its been done by a five year old. Really bugs my OCD :D great board though.
It may well be just to mess with people's OCDs. In fact, it's starting to bug us now that you mention it. :D

You asked for it, here it is...the super carrier...there are many like it but this one is MINE!!!!

Looking all sexy on my test bench!!!

[filthy porn]

This just got serious! :D
Believe us, these are going on the Facebook page. That Streacom bench table is pretty sleek as well. :)

Don't bother.

Bought a different board
Sorry for the slow reply, they are in stock with a distributor in the UK, but you'd need to contact a reseller to request one if it's not listed anywhere. Replying in case anyone else has the same question.

@AsrockMB Can you please let us know what the mosfets/vrm's are on the AB350 Gaming K4 and the PRO 4 please? There is some debate that they are subpar in quality even though you have higher phases than most other manufacturers B350 boards. (And I am keen to get either the K4, or the PRO 4).

Thanks.
Will ask the guys with the drawings - please hold. :)

@AsrockMB any more info on the 2yr warranty? it's a bit lacking compared to other manufactures..
I can't offer you a straight up honest, factually correct answer on this, but price is definitely one consideration. If AMD keeps doing well with their CPUs, the higher-end boards should also see 3/5 year warranties in the future. This is nothing we have info on for now though, just a theory at the moment.

No worries, I actually bought.....

ASRock J3355B-ITX 2DDR3(SOD)/2S3/GL M-ITX Motherboard

could you find out for me though why it is advertised as
  1. Intel® Dual-Core Processor J3355 (up to 2.5 GHz)
and yet when be pushed to 100% usage it will go to 2400mhz, which is 24x100.

Shouldn't it be 25x100 for 2.5Ghz....?

This is when it is stressed tested.

Thanks
Will check up on this. Sounds odd. Are we right to assume you're using the latest BIOS?

EDIT: On second thought - it doesn't sound too odd - the 2.5GHz figure is most likely for one core, while both cores run at 24x when loaded simultaneously. Can you verify with for example wPrime? (You can set thread count manually to see the difference between 1/2t.)

Finally got around to putting my Ryzen Taichi build together.

[pics]
Blooming Cooler Master and their upside down logo's! But it's all lit up and most importantly, posting! Went straight into my old windows install and working fine. Just need to fresh format it now. Thought I'd post this first :D

Also applied a mild OC to 3.6GHz on stock volts. Will push that further once I've got Windows all sorted out.

The Avexir Core White 32GB kit worked out the box at it's stock 2400MHz as well, not bad for 2 x DR 16GB Hyinx sticks. Should be able to get that to 2666MHz at least with a bit of playing.
Sweet baby Jesús. Keep an eye out for these pictures on Facebook, we're gonna steal 'em! (Also the video.)
