Are you guys running power in both 8 pin and 4 pin cpu slots? Manual isn't very clear but I presume just the 8 pin and the usual 24 pin is enough?

It also had me panicked at first seeing the text on the 5930 being upside down, double checked lol.

Yeah just the 8-pin i'm using. I also had a scary moment where my 5930K was upside down, was rather worried until i asked on here lol.

Had that problem also, was a stressful CPU install with no little triangle marker.

Hi all, been a while since I was on here last, so hello again, lol. Well I had a wonderfull surprise yesterday, came home to find my lovely wife had bought me a late birthday present, guess what I'm up to this weekend.

it would be nice if they made an extension cable for the OC panel it wont go in my case and my pc is on the floor so it wont reach the desk :S

Has anybody that had similar issues to the Xonar sound cards with their Creative sound cards tested this new beta bios 0801?

Please let us know if it also fixes the issues people have had also with the Creative sound cards.

Apart from an initial driver problem my Sound Blaster Z has been just fine. Are you having problems?

I am not on the x99 platform yet but just heard that some users of the Creative sound cards are having issues too.

Asus never learns. I had similar problems with my last two mobos. Took ages for them to sort out the issues and even now I'm still have problems with the USB 3.0 ports randomly going AWOL... :mad:
