Maybe i just got unlucky. I normally use Asus boards and don't have problems, but not had much luck so far with the Rog.

Update, My replacement for the faulty board should be here on Thursday I have just heard. So I start again.

Good news as far as it goes - my replacement board has arrived. So all I have to do now is drain the loop and re build etc. I am hoping this will be the end of my woes, and I can get on to enjoying and playing etc.

New bios 0901 is out:

Fix the issue that the card installed on PCIE_X4_1 may be not detected if ASM106SE controller is disabled in BIOS.

Guys I'm having some really annoying problems with this board

First off all my screen image will randomly look like crap on some boot ups. It's not my gpu s as they were working flawlessly before

Another problem I'm having is it won't recognise my ssds as ahci but installs a scsi driver for them

Anyone got a solution? It has done this on 2 reformats

Not showing up on the Asus site - strange. Think I will hold off as no change details either.

Anyone tried the new 1001 bios - any good, any problems? Wish they would be more specific about the issues fixed etc.

I have updated to the new 1001 bios and this bios seems to make the system more stable than the previous bios releases plus it seems to fix the annoying cold boot issues.

So far, there have been only positive comments from user using this bios.

Many thanks for the confirmation - will jot down my o clock settings and give this a go tomorrow. Seems on the whole very positive from the asus forums link.
