How are people getting on with the 1201 bios?
No problems at all with it.

Wait for the next build to come out and then flash to that. I don't see any major reason to flash back to an earlier build in the interim unless you have to use the ASMedia SATA ports.
It appears that bios 1201 has been pulled due to a minor issue involving the ASMedia SATA controller.
Should you flash back:
1.Support 5th-Generation Intel Core Processors
2.Support ASUS USB 3.1 PCIE add-on card
3.Support NVMe
Don't know if anyone has seen.. EK have released the monoblock waterblock for the RVE

Currently running a dual loop setup in my machine & the CPU currently has a 480mm SR-1 rad all to itself (a little overkill)
Was thinking of going for this as the airflow in my case isn't brilliant, would it cool the chipset (more concerned about the VRM's tbh) better than the seperate motherboard blocks?
Improve system stability.

EDIT: Don't bother!
Bios is duff: not a UEFI BIOS
How did Asus manage to **** that up, not UEFI !!!!!
I have a borked PC and need to put the new version on (don't ask). This is currently the only PC I have so wondering how I can extract the CAP file, to a USB device on a MAC. Any pointers appreciated ??
That one works, individual region links may not yet be updated.
Doest seem to work as the files I have are CAP files.
you have obviously tried it - so how you finding it? any particular plusses etc
Running with previous settings just as before.
Hey guys still got my board in the box as waiting for various other bits for my build.
Got the R5 about a month ago, after reading through the pages, should be good to go str8 out of the box any updates or tips?
Thanks
