The Asus ROG SWIFT PG278Q – a 27” 1400p 144Hz Monitor with G-SYNC

Just ordered one, hopefully I will get a good one!! Been thinking about this or the Benq for days but just noticed the price. That and the worry about motion blur on the Benq.

Ano, I get how you feel, thats my attitude towards asus as a whole.

However, you should get it, it's simply amazing. Poor reviews? No such thing, the only issue is if it breaks/has issues (not that common considering how many have sold) and whoever you got it from isnt helpful.

You are covered under DSR if you buy it and it's not for you.

Put it this way I wish now I'd went the Swift route over the freesync BenQ. I know nVidia's tactics are shady and now it seems either way you're locked into gsync or freesync because AMD can't adopt gsync and nVidia don't look like they'll adopt the vesa standard freesync uses any time soon.

A Titan X and a ROG Swift would have cost me a lot more but I can't help feel the experience will be far better.

lets say if it goes wrong with ocuk, whats the typical process with rma

If it goes wrong in the first few weeks you can get a direct swap with OCUK, you pay postage but ocuk will refund it. After that they will ask you to contact Asus directly, but basically if you aren't happy with what happens your contract is with ocuk, so if you think Asus are being unreasonable you can try to get a refund from OCUK. Pay by credit card and you can also get a refund from your credit card if things go really south.

Yep like ive said my asus monitor I got from ocuk whent they told me to contact asus, and did so had a new monitor dropped off at my home and took the old one away in 3 days,so im happy to buy another asus monitor anytime.
