So with this " 3 year on site" does this mean if I ever get a faulty unit, Ocuk will do the dirty work and drop a new one off first?

Anyone else had issues with this monitor? Been doing more research and just heard of many horror stories where even the new rma is broken after a week. Might wait for these issues to iron out.
I spoke with OCuk on the phone, they confirmed that all Benq monitor ARE on site but I cant speak for the other brands.

To be honest you are better off ringing Benq to confirm.
They have sold so many of these units, every product has a certain % that will fail for whatever reason. It's very unlikely you will get a defective unit.
It's never a nice thing to experience, for any item, add in poor asus support and you have a small risk.... however, the build quality is outstanding, the majority have zero issues and this product on the whole has been a massive success.
I cannot stress how much i despise asus due to past problems with them, but they knocked it out of the park with this product

There should be a standard UK plug supplied as well...

The monitor is lacking a UK plug. None of the cables are in bags, its also totally covered in dust all over the base of it, and the screen is thick with finger prints, smudges and what looks like a scratch on the screen.

That is correct, some come with 2 pin others uk 3 plug, just the stock! i also got one with 2 pin from ocuk and contacted them but they confirmed what i said above.
