Well I ordered one, It is arriving in roughly 7 hours and yes I am sad enough to wait up for it

What about the B grade ones in the clearance section at the moment? What sort of condition are they in? (was thinking of going for one)
I keep thinking that but want IPS 144hz 1440p but they are taking ages!!! (TN is never going to cut it for me)

I was wondering.
Does anyone know what the letters at the start of the monitors from Asus mean ?
I know the Swifts "PG" stands for performance gaming.
But what about the MG, PB, PA, PQ, MX, PT, VX, VS, VC, VN, VG, etc...
Is there a table somewhere explaining these ?

Off the top of my head -
MG = Mainstream Gaming
PB = Professional Business
PA = Pro Art
MX = Mainstream with 'stylish designs' ('Designo' typically)
VX = Value with 'stylish designs' ('Designo' typically)
VN = Value with narrow bezels
I don't know if they always stand for anything in particular as acronyms, they just help distinguish the models from each other and help group together those with similar features.

Well, that's 24 hours wasted with the RMA so far...
When I phoned yesterday, I was told something about receiving an email within 24 hours (something about it being issued to level 2), and if I hadn't heard anything I should call back in 24 hours.
Upon calling back today, it was stated that nothing had been issued to level 2 and I would need to fill in the online form whereby they gave me the web address - not sure why they couldn't tell me that yesterday!

Sounds like typical Asus customer service to me, Took me 9 weeks to do an RMA of a motherboard once and I kept on having to ring back every few days as the guy kept telling me "Will only be a few more days now".
They make awesome products but their CS is extremely sub par.

Well my Swift arrived a few minutes ago and yep, A problem.
It came with a European power plug.....

Sure there's not a UK one hidden in the box? I think mine came with both.

I emptied the box completely, Nothing but the USB, Display Port, Power brick and EU plug

Did live chat with OCUK and they are sending me out the EU clover plug for delivery tomorrow, Great service.
Now I play the staring game with an un powered Swift XD

Well I am now on my third swift, keeps turning on after pc is shut down. I must say the replacements have been in very good condition.
The only issue I have is that when I speak to customer services they say that I will get a new power adapter sent with a new screen but only the screen arrives.
After speaking again to customer services this morning I have been moved to level 2 so hopefully will get a new power adapter this week.

As above, got mine in November last year (touch wood) its been faultless thus far

It's a bug in the latest nvidia driver.
Same as above, no problems with mine luckily.
The turning on and off problem will be the power pack. i had the same problem. they sent me a replacemnt panel but that didnt cure it, and i called them again and insisted they send me the power pack. got it yesterday and now the swift is back to normal

So the UK plug arrived, Powered on and OH MY GOD IT'S HAVING SEX WITH MY EYES !!!!!
1 question, Is it safe for G-Sync to be on all the time ? As I know the latest driver is a little bugged and doesn't shut G-Sync off while on the desktop.

Gsync does shut down, it is just the light that stays on... Even if not, the desktop is a fixed refresh so having gsync still switched on would have no effect anyway
