Don't know if anyone can help.. have bought an X99-S motherboard (which as far as I'm aware is pretty much identical to DELUXE minus the WiFi) and am confused as to the purpose of the TPU, EPU and EZ XMP switches on the motherboard.
The board came with these all disabled, and I'm about to try to use the 5-Way Optimisation feature to get a moderate overclock (it's a work PC, needs to be stable and as quiet as reasonably possible, preferably only ramping up in speed/volume when needed), but I don't know whether I need to toggle all of these switches to ON or not. The manual isn't clear, and it isn't obvious whether or not you have to do this to use 5-Way Optimisation at all?
I enabled these on mine, did the 5way optimization and nearly had a heart attack as it kept going past 10Ghz! lol had to reset it and its ended up at 4.4 stable, it wasnt really getting to 10ghz tho just a bug somewere but hey for a few mins i thought i had a good chip.
