Thank goodness though, shocking referee, can't remember Mark Halsey doing anything too bad in recent history.

I'd agree with that, I cant remember Halsey being involved in any flash points recently whereas Atkinson...... well he's got previous

Having said that it did occur to me that the list time Atkinson actually did a Liverpool/Unted game at Anfield was back in 06/07, he did send Scholes off for swinging a punch at Alonso but we did at least win :p

You say it as if he got it wrong :p?

Scholes can't punch is the new excuse along with he just can't tackle :P?

Also does anyone here happen to know how easy it is to find the train station at manchester airport? Never been there before and it was £110 cheaper each way than flying to Liverpool, ridiculous.

Thank god Atkinson has been replaced, he hasn't refereed one of our games for eleven months and for good reason, ***** us over every time.

LOL now that is epic play acting there...hilarious how falls to the ground...looks around and it seems like his manager says to play hurt then he rolls around in agony.

Hilarious stuff.

Oh good news Arsenal fans word of the street (Twitter) is that Wilshere has had a set back and could be out the rest of the season!

If true that's terribly unlucky both for Arsenal and the player, never nice to see top young talents like Wilshire, Rodwell & Cleverley not playing for long spells due to injury

Just imagine if both Wilshire & Cleverley had been playing all season, both you'd imagine would be certs for England in the summer. Instead it'll be the usual Lampard, Barry, Gerrard & Parker brigade.

*not that I really care about England :p

It's not particularly bad news for Arsenal fans....... not that it isn't exactly bad news, its just as an Arsenal fan you hear the supposed injury date, and expect the date to be put back 3 months at least 3 times before you even see the player, and a 90% chance of a new or same injury happening in a reserve game before finally seeing them back playing in the first team.

IE, I think it was may injury, supposed to be fine for August, August relapse back November, then they decided to do surgery and pushed that back till Jan/Feb...... now 3 months later and late May..... yup, I was only guessing with the three month thing earlier but thats about bang on :p

I wouldn't put any money on England doing well with Cleverley/Wilshire either side of Parker in midfield anyway, I really hope Barry doesn't get ANY game time no matter who else is available, same with Gerrard, Barry is simply awful, no pace, terrible defensive reading of the game, him and Johnson together were shocking against Germany(and all competition). if neither of those two can play by then, England should go 4-4-2, Parker/Lampard in midfield.
