The Battlefield 4 Thread 2015

Most of the time VM is fine for me. Last night and that server however.

kiwi, what happened to you mate? Are you on this evening?

Yup, I have been noticing this issue for the last week or so now, makes it very hard to play especially infy. Can barely win any 1 on 1 fire fights let alone a group, could explain why I suffering so bad lately with the HMG on the tank.

The thing is, my thinbroadband graph looked really good (for me) yesterday when we were playing yet my ping was going from 50 to over a 100.....

I just can't play with a ping over 60 in MP FPS shooters, would love to play csgo but with this internet, nope.....

PS. The big yellow/blue parts are just me dll some good old ginger midget porn :p

Thankfully the latest AMD drivers seemed to have helped with the performance of gta 5 since that awful patch.

Had Virgin go off from around half 11 last night and only came on again around 10 this morning, first time it's done that for ages! Usually rather stable.

Well it's official for me, anything over 80 Ping and I can't play for toffee.

Put 7 shells from a Saiga into someone yesterday and nothing, just danced around me and 1HK from an AKU12. No doubt he fired more bullets but with my poop VM connection it didn't show as that.

Not a happy bunny, BF4 + High Ping is a no go. GTAV is now borked.

Bad day...

I find BF4 plays pretty rubbish unless you have a 33-50ms ping - for some reason the "netcode" is closest to accurate there and anything much higher or much lower seems to have extrapolation/interpolation issues.

g1 gaming.. i got the 970 and its friking amazing!

I went for this option in the end. I'm getting a second hand g1 gaming and will wait for Pascal as I originally intended. The 970 should from what I've read and watched perform slightly better than my sli 670s, have less power draw, less noise and none of the micro stuttering with sli.

When Pascal is released hopefully by this time next year, I can flog the card and put the money towards the rest.

I tried gaming with the hd4000 and at low and the lowest resolution it was awful lol, so hopefully by next week I'll be back for some games.

The 980ti was tempting but I was talked out of it as I game at 1080p atm and the 970 is plenty enough for BF. I should be fine for Fallout 4 also as it's probably going to be locked at 60fps.

Still only at 1920x1200 here, few times ive noticed the card use and core clock drop down a bit. Would appear that this card isnt being fully utilised in bf4 at this resolution.

970s are great value for money and in SLI destroy BF4.

Anyone on this evening then?
